Great for the price.
This Vizio speaker I bought was refurbished. It looked and smelled brand new. The sound quality is good enough for me at 40 watts. Some movies sound better and louder than others. The bass sounds good, even without using the bass button. The only thing I didn’t like was how you have to use a sharp object like the tip of a knife to open the battery compartment on the remote control which will not slide off like on other remotes.

Itâs a budget soundbar.
If youâre using this as an upgrade for TV speakers, you wonât be disappointed. Itâs louder and slightly clearer than TV speakers. Just donât expect it to blow you away. I do like the connectivity it offers. For the price you usually only get optical or auxiliary so the HDMI is nice to have. Not sure why all soundbars donât include hdmi these days, but thatâs besides the point. If you need an upgrade for your small tv or bedroom setup, this will do you just fine.

I’m very impressed with this product. It arrived in ‘like new’ condition and with a very generous price tag. It’s in such excellent condition, I could not tell it was an ‘open box’ buy. It’s a nice sound bar, but I would not have paid the new pricing. For such a compact design, it provides big sound and surprising bass response. It’s very sleek, it’s almost not even visible with my 70″ Vizio TV.

Why Amazon Purchases Feel Like a Gamble
When an Aux cable is connected to the speaker while itâs powered on, but the other end of the cable isnât connected to a source, it produces a humming noiseâsimilar to the annoying sounds electronics made 20 years ago. Iâm not sure if this is the same issue or if the product is defective. Iâll try replacing it to see if the problem persists. Sometimes, buying from Amazon feels like a waste of resources, time, and an burden on the environment. They donât always send good-quality products, and itâs frustrating to deal withârepacking and returning items is a hassle. If I keep it and it breaks in 2-3 months, itâs money down the drain. Purchasing from Amazon feels like a gamble. I hope stores like Best Buy, Walmart, and Target continue selling products so weâre not entirely dependent on Amazonâs poor-quality offerings.
