It is now bolted to my sonar as a second display bracket so I can ice fish and watch star trek :pThe only down side is the knob to tighten the ball joint could be larger to give you more torque and make tightening it less of job on your fingers.expect to get years of use out of it.

Good! Could be better
I had been looking for something like this as I hate looking down on my laptop and up to my web cam clipped on a monitor. I wish I could flip the camera to the right/left (like there be an arm) so I can position in front of my monitor so my gaze is in line with seeing the other callers on the monitor vs looking at a wecam( I miss seeing their expressions). Glad for it as an improvement to naturalizing my gaze. I dont touch or move it much so no comments on durability esp with taking the camera off n on.
