Neat helmet, but a little extra.
Reviewing: Welding Helmet Auto Darkening True Color Large Viewing, Welding Hood Solar/Battery Powered, Wide Shade 4/5-13 with 4 Arc Sensor, 1/1/1/1 Optical Clarity Welder Mask for TIG MIG Stick Cut GrindI was impressed by this helmet. It was rather comfortable, even in the July 90F heat, but in a completely different way than my YesWelder helmet. The YesWelder is a much lighter and more basic offering, but lightness is a virtue for anything that sits on my head all day. The Vorito helmet is noticeably heavier, but has more complex and adjustable headgear. I found the padding to be just plain comfortable. So far it has held up well, and not gone all âfloppyâ from me using it like a conventional fixed-shade helmet (flipping it down with a quick head nod).Pros: Ample field of view, infinitely adjustable shade, super comfortable headgear. Test feature is great!Cons: comparatively heavy. Proprietary âfancyâ front covers which look like a motorcycle helmet. Though it appears you can still use ordinary polycarbonate cover plates. In a normal helmet, all the transparent materials are near one another and are pretty much flat. You get some âghostsâ or reflections of the weld puddle, but it’s not something one notices after a little experience. This Vorito helmet is different enough that the reflections could take some getting used to for some people. Although it is definitely a good helmet, the value is questionable as there are comparable helmets that routinely sell for much less.

Great affordable helmet
I am not a professional welder, Im a mobile forklift mechanic. I was using the cheap HF welding helmet and this is a night and day difference. First and most importantly I can use it with my prescription glasses, which is huge. The battery that was installed in it was no good but it came with a spare so no fault there. It has alot of settings and im not sure how to set it up but there is a test button and I just adjusted it to where I wanted it and started melting metal, again not a professional welder! It comes with extra shields and a nice storage bag. The headband has alot of adjustments on it as well and plenty of padding.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent helmet.

Lightweight, Comfortable, and Crystal-Clear, A Fantastic Welding Helmet
Iâve been testing this welding helmet through Amazon Vine, and Iâm genuinely impressed by how far these designs have come. Right out of the box, the helmet felt much lighter than I expectedâbut donât let that fool you. Itâs built tough and feels solid in hand, with no signs of flimsy construction.Comfort is a standout feature here. The fit is secure without being tight, and I can wear it for extended sessions without fatigue. The auto-darkening function works flawlessly: I can clearly see my bead as I start, and the lens darkens to the perfect level instantly, allowing me to continue welding without any eye strain. The true color viewing is sharp and accurate, which makes a real difference in precision work. The helmet covers a wide shade range (4/5â13) and includes 4 arc sensors, plus a 1/1/1/1 optical clarity ratingâwhich really shows in use. Whether Iâm doing TIG, MIG, Stick, or grinding, it adapts smoothly and reliably.Extras like the carrying bag and spare shields are a nice touch and add to the overall value. The solar/battery combo seems efficientâthe battery life feels like it could last forever.Pros:⢠Lightweight yet durable construction⢠Excellent comfort for long wear⢠Responsive auto-darkening with true color clarity⢠Wide shade range and top-tier optical rating⢠Includes carrying bag and extra shields⢠Stylish design with great valueCons:⢠None so farâperformance and build quality exceed expectationsIf youâre looking for a reliable, comfortable, and high-performing welding helmet, this one delivers in every category

Welding helmet with good viewing screen and dials for adjusting sensitivity and shade, comfortable
High-tech welding helmet. Instructions, a wipe cloth, and a fairly sturdy stuff bag with a long cord (so it can be hung) are included, as well as several replacement shields. The battery rating is about 2000 hours. The battery powers the viewing screen and sensors for adjusting light levels which seem to work well. Visibility is good and you can dial the sensitivity and amount of shade. There’s also a delay setting but I haven’t experimented with delay yet, the default setting worked fine. Dials are on the side and adjustment and viewing screen on the inside so if you’re used to a simple traditional helmet, it takes a few minutes to read the instructions and orient yourself. It’s very different from traditional welding helmets (we’ve been using one passed down from our grandfather) and lighter as well, without being flimsy. We do all our own renovations, repairs, and hobby building so it’s convenient to have a more up-to-date helmet. It’s comfortable and snug on my head. I don’t have a large head so I don’t know how well this will fit larger heads, maybe with some adjustments to the straps it’s possible. So far it’s good value for the price.
