Great product for smart home
After I got 1 double package for 2 outlets I decided to get 2 more packages (4 outlets) Iâm moving more and more Into an âintelligentâ house, automating my life has become very enjoy. These outlets work senselessly with my Apple HomeKit. I understand it works with Alexa as well but I do not have that (yet lol) The only thing I donât like is the long look, but you can use 2 in 1 outlet.Tip: if you throw your package out(like I did), take a picture of the code on the back of plug with another device (iPad), so you can set it up In your phone.

I have several of these devices in use. You can connect them in the same Wemo app account even if they run on different wifi connections in different houses or cities. This can be good or bad. I have them in use at my house, but then also at my parents and grandparents places. It makes editing and operation much quicker and easier, especially if you manage other properties. Other brands do similar things but I stick with the Wemo because of my other devices.When they disconnect, a rather quick and easy trouble shoot or reset works with little effort. Iâve maybe had this issue once or twice a year between all nine devices combined.

Fun Entry Level Home Automation with Wemo & Homekit
Excellent way to begin your journey into an automated home. We started with three Wemo plugs for a set of lamps, a Christmas tree, and a small recirculating pump for hot water. We chose Wemo since it worked with the Apple HomeKit and it was marketed by Belkin, a company that selects good products.The setup is fairly easy, especially after the first one. You need to be determined to get it right. And, once setup, it responds well with Siri and can even be controlled from outside your home (setup with a hub, such as an AppleTV is required). Use your AppleWatch if you like to control the devices or your cell phone.Caveat: Make sure your Wemo plug is compatible with the Apple HomeKit â some older noncompatible versions are still being sold. Timers are even built-in with the HomeKit app, plus many other options. Note: you use the Wemo app for initial setup, then control is easier with Appleâs HomeKit app. Siri works great!

Letâs the kids know when itâs bedtime
I purchased these for my grandkidsâ bedrooms. Theyâre 3,4, and 5. For our family, it has made bedtime really fuss- and whine-free. They go to bed with some books, and when the lamp goes out, itâs sleep time. I installed the WEMO app to program the device, but it is also Alexa enabled.

I LOVE Wemos
I love Wemos. I have several of them throughout the house and needed a few more. I love to be able to ask Alexa to turn on or turn off specific lights. I feel very techy!
