This versatile machine features a variable speed 15-Amp motor, providing users speeds from 8, 000 to 23, 000 rotations per minute. The 1/2-inch collet includes an additional 1/4-inch adapter, allowing for compatibility with a wide variety of bits. Our soft startup design prevents damage to your workpiece and lengthens the tool’s lifespan. The spring-loaded base features a lock-down knob to turn your plunge router into a fixed router. The intricate depth stop system features a 7-stop turret, a depth adjustment dial that advances the depth stop 5/16 of an inch per quarter turn, and a fine-tune adjustment dial that advances it 1/128 of an inch per quarter turn. The included guide fence lets users rout perfectly straight lines, helping to create dadoes and grooves along the workpiece. This kit comes packed with accessories, including a hard-shelled blow mold carrying case, a 1-1/2 inch dust Collection duct, a bit-changing wrench, a Straight-Edge guide fence, a fence scale, a centering pin for cutting circles, a profile guide for routing edges of curvy workpieces, and a template guide for creating more complex shapes. I am a fan of WEN products. They are sturdy, great value and great quality.My expectation of this router was equally as impressive. The build quality is amazing! It is a heavier router but for may jobs that is what you need.The included edge guide is often an “extra” cost with other brands. Powerfull. You can’t beat that price. As a plunge router it’s amazing. You can use it as an edge router but it is heavier, so it’s not ideal for that.

One glaring flaw
I bought this router to mostly flatten slabs, and larger cutting and charcuterie boards that wouldn’t fit through my planer. Once its running it does a good job. Enough power to make 1/8 or a little more cuts with only a small amount of bogging down.The glaring problem…… the trigger for starting and stopping the router. A on of switch would be much better. Moving the slabbing jig, and making sure your hand doesn’t move on the trigger makes things more difficult than they should be. Any movement of that trigger and the router goes off. Not the safest thing to do, but I have resorted to a clamp to keep the router running constantly so I can concentrate more on the cutting.

elle travaille trés bien, beaucoup de puissance mais il y a de pieces perdues, dans mon cas il me manque un vis papillon ( knob spring part No 6033-033 et 10 mm Knob part No 6033-038 ) pour serrer la tige de la guide de cloture (la guide que vous placez sur le borde du bois ) et aussi une petite ecrou (part No 6033-077 Nut M4 ) qui vient avec les vis qui tiennent la piece pour collecter la poussiere.J’ai déjà une autre machine Wen laquelle a fonctionné très bien, ce qui a pesé tres fort au moment de choisir celle-ci. Si n’est que pour la manque des pieces je crois que cette machine merite 5 etoiles puisque elle est tout ce que j’attendai d’elle.
