Controllers are not bad. not the same quality as nintendo but works well.
This is a decent dual controller if you want the n64 controller feel. It definitely feels “cheaper” than n64 controller. It feels lighter but I assume this does not have the “rumble pack”. The one I got is only USB. I am able to connect this to my switch via USB or my PC even so I could player n64 games on my PC. The one thing that was a bit odd was trying to figure out which USB receiver is for which controller. You can pair the device to the receiver you want but I do wish it was color coded to make it easier to connect. It does have light indicator to show what control number it is on your switch which is great. The controller unfortunately CANNOT control the switch in terms of powering it on and such. It does have the same form factor as the n64 controller although the “joy stick” is removable to make it easy to change out. It actually has spare ones which is interesting. For the most part, it is easy to pull the joystick out so you do not have to take the thing apart. It does not drift or stick which is nice. The color for the most part looks similar to the black and gray. It feels SLIGHTLY lighter and you can tell it is cheaper material. The “rumble” pack slot was changed out in order to house the receiver piece of it. The buttons are not too bad. They do take time to break in in my opinion. I am able to press the buttons without issues. They register and do not need any kind of mapping even with the PC . It does not vibrate though which is okay with me. I am able to pay N64 games on my switch without issue. The batteries on this is rechargeable. It last for quite sometime without needing to plug in. You can run the controller while it is being charged which is great. The cable provided is okay. It is just a standard USB cable. The control feels pretty good in my hand. I am able to play smash brothers with these controllers easily. The Z button is not bad. I am able to play golden eye with this easily. Overall these controllers are not bad. I will say the device is not the same quality in terms of feel and material as the n64 controller. The color tries to match the N64 controller but you can tell it is slightly off. I wish the receiver were color coded at least so I can tell which one goes to what. They are the same color which makes it more annoying to tell which one is which. At least you can easily pair it to the receiver if you forget.

    Very accurate wifi N64 clone
I took a gamble, not knowing much about this brand, other than they weren’t *particularly* well rated, but the reviewer below seemed to really like it, so I figured for $33, what could possibly go wrong? So far, nothing. I even mapped it correctly for my dinky little Kinhank Console King X, which I thought might be problematic, but it worked flawlessly. It’s not a slick, modern joystick like in the Retro Fighters 64Brawler, but what feels essentially like an old (but brand new) Nintendo 64 controller, that can work on nearly anything. It’s definitely a nostalgic feeling, just like sitting in front of the TV back in the 90’s with your trusty 64 controller..except it’s wireless (with no lag that I’ve been able to detect). The buttons feel pretty nice; not exquisite, but much better than a madcatz or pelican knockoff from the day. It’s really fun to hold and use one again after, oh, twenty some odd years. It’s not made *quite* like an Xbox or playstation controller, but it’s really nice for what it is. Dude, Mario 64 with an actual original style controller! Buy it if you’re considering one. It’s worth the money in my book, and I’ve been playing old games since the dawn of the ages.

  4. Exactly what I needed

    Product never worked right.
Product never worked. I attempted to get it to work on my desktop computer when it arrived. The emulator project 64 did not detect all buttons. It remained in my closet for about 2 months it was inside a box with all my other wired and wireless peripherals safe and sound. Eventually i figured it must have been user error and decided to take it out and try to use it again. Imagine my surprise when the reset button on the controller eluminated when i press and hold but it never starts blinking. I cannot get it to start pairing mode. I installed a third party application to see if i can get it to detect while plugged in through the charger on the pc (not with the dongle) it gave me an alert that battery was low. I got excited cause i thought that was the solution. No. Ive been charging it for hours and Still nothing. My question is wether or not the controller has an indicator that its charging properly, i tried many different chargers, some on the usb port of my computer and some on the wall. The usb dongle itself enters pairing mode flawlessly, its this brick of a controller that doesnt want to do anything. The manufacturer claims it has battery life of up to three years, im assuming while its unused, so i dont know why im having issues turning it on. I am upset since i did waste money on this piece of crap which i inteded to use frequently. Im always playing n64 games with my xbox controller to this day. I do not recommend as ive noticed many others have had so many issues with this product. Its not worth it. It works but probably for like a month then it just becomes a brick. I am hoping that this is user error and the manufacturer can get in touch to help me troubleshoot. If i can get help, i will gladly give this product more stars.

If you’re looking for a good wireless n64 controller with the classic Trident style (most wireless ones these days are modern)Then this bad boy is for you.Feels extremely close to an original controller but the joystick is modern. No more loose stick syndrome here!Easy to sync up to the switch, PC or n64 itself. There are only 2 videos on YouTube about this controller so I’m assuming it’s fairly new.Definitely going to be picking up a second one as this controller is so good, I’m afraid of it actually not being available in the future for whatever reason, so I’m stocking up.I suggest you do the same.Godspeed.

Although it works, I could not get it to work with emulation. However, it likely does work fine with a N64.I spent much time trying to configure this in the settings of Retroarch and could not get all buttons mapped correctly. It could be user error, but I’ve been able to do this with every other controller I have used successfully. The way the inputs are presented to a Windows machine seems to be the problem.
