Easy to set up. I did have to get a/c man to put jumper on air handler to get a “c” wire to it .

My 3rd purchase of these Smart WiFi thermostats
I purchased two of these for our last house, and have already replaced one at our new place. I love the ability to adjust the temperature from anywhere. No coming home to a house that is too hot or too cold.I plan to purchase a 2nd one for upstairs this summer.The only reason I didnât give it 5 stars was the display is lower resolution and can be difficult to see in some light.

Alexa problem
I cannot get Alexa to speak to the thermostat I see the thermostat picture on my Alexa application but whatever I say it states it’s looking for a device that it cannot find

Did Last 2 Years
I was excited when I purchased this model as it was easy for me to program and to read the screen. Liked the color change options too. However after $150 bucks it quit working after only 2 years. My previous thermostat lasted 48 years so I was certainly a shock. And now that Iâm freezing in my home, Iâm searching for a replacement. Not buying this again.

Wired in easy, easy for standalone setup. Setting up in Honeywell home app and then transferring to the replacement resideo app was more complicated than it needed to be. I work in AV and low voltage so smart automated products are my thing. I got everything to work but I could see the average consumer calling a professional for installation help. Honeywell needs to make the app setup a little bit easier. The Honeywell home app is antiquated by todayâs standards. All the resideo app does is sign into the old HH app. However the thermostat looks great, itâs reliable and has an easy to use touchscreen. Only 4 stars because of the app setup.
