I used two books to pass the Sec+ 601 test. This was one of them. The other was Darrill Gibsons 601 book. I liked this book because it goes straight through the exam objectives as you read. I like it this way because i use the exam objectives to guide my studying. Like other McGraw Hill books there are alot of spelling errors. Not so bad on this test ad there is little code to look through, but its sad to see books like this with so many editing errors.

Can’t Imagine Studying for This Exam Without This Book
Normally, I read ebooks, but for this exam, I’m glad I bought this book. With paper, easy to flip back-and-forth for references and also highlighting key points. Also found it helpful to put flags on the chapters to make flipping to other chapters easier. My $.02, get the paper book and not the e-version.

Perfect Book to Study for Security+ Exam
The book explains everything perfectly from the terms for you to understand it better with examples also comes with practice tests which test how much you remember from the chapter; and the exam objectives are separate out by chapters so you can go through one objective at a time. Highly recommend getting if studying for Security+ Exam.

I have very high hopes for this very expensive book but was very disappointed. The information is very academic and very bland. The end of chapter questions were super simple and I was disappointed with the online bank of that were also very simple. The information is written in a way where the exam concepts are not clearly defined. I wish I had not paid a high price for book that will not certify me. From the title I though this was a one stop shop that would give me everything I need to certify. Do not buy, look for another resource.
