Perfect solution for me — A Senior household
Perfect solution for me. It is always at the ready. No need to search for something in a drawer. It is hidden away also, which is nice.Installation could not have been easier for something like this. I used the adhesive pad and the screws (I can’t imagine using just the adhesive pad by itself).The adhesive pad helps hold it in place while installing the screws. Nice.The lengths of the screws are perfectly designed to connect the jar opener to the bottom shelving without piercing the shelving all the way through. (Pre-check the thickness of your own bottom shelf though).There is no need to pre-drill any holes, but use a powered screwdriver for best results. CAUTION: Do not overtighten. Make it a little snug and then stop.After some daily usage, I no longer even have to look under the cabinet to see where to place the jar. I instinctively know where to put it, and then just turn one-handed.I have not done a multitude of different jars, so hoping it will work as well as the ones I’ve used it on.Price-wise, it is a great value.

Open any jar effortlessly
I just bought this jar opener and it works great! I have really bad arthritis in my thumbs and it is really painful to get a good grip and loosen a new jar. I’ve been using the rubber grips that you hold on the lid but even that wasn’t working for me.This thing is the bomb! It comes with everything you need to mount it under the counter. It has sticky tape to press it in place. I mounted it with the tape and then drilled holes for the screws and they did job really getting it secured. I’m a single 73 and there’s not a man in sight! LOL You won’t need one if you buy this. I installed it all by myself. Buy it! You’ll like it!

You need this in your kitchen! I wish I bought it long ago.
I purchased this because I can’t always find one of my sons to help me when I don’t have the strength to open a jar. This is unbelievably efficient. There is no container that I cannot open. Lately, my wrist has been hurting, and I’m glad to have this to avoid struggling to open it. I have this mounted under a kitchen cabinet; it is right within reach, but not at all visible. I highly recommend this, especially if you have older parents, or simply someone who lives alone, or someone who loves to cook. It is a super handy gadget! I wish I had purchased this much sooner! I’ve had it for about a year, and it still works perfectly. This is money well spent!

Four stars only because I havenât used it yet. But itâs sturdy, little metal teeth are super sharp, and it installed under cabinet in a minute. Iâm pretty confident that this will be awesome at opening jars.

This is one of the best products I’ve ever bought. It makes opening jars so much easier. It opens all kind of jars and bottles too. I bought them for my elderly mom and aunt too. My aunt loves it because she has a problem with her hands and this makes opening jars and bottles easy for her. Every home should have them in it. I’ve even sent other people the link for them.

Have it placed under a counter. My strength is not what it used to be and sometimes I have difficulty opening screw tops. This works great on all bottle types and I like that is hidden under a cupboard. I was pleasantly surprised on how well this item works. I strongly recommend

Excellent for those suffering from impaired grip strength
Bought this for my mom who suffers from RA and has severely impaired grip strength. She lives alone and canât get jars open by herself. This has been a godsend and she finds it so simple to use. Really happy with this purchase, we open everything from water bottles to large pickle jars – it has opened anything and everything even sticky honey or glued on bbq sauce jars previously opened but stuck easily. Every house should come with one of these LOL. Only wish I had found it sooner!
