Q: What systems are compatible with this thermostat?
A: Our smart thermostat is compatible with 90% of system: Conventional (2H/2C); Heat Pump (4H/2C);
Supports natural gas, electric, hot water, gas fireplaces (24 Volts), oil heat sources; heat pump, dual fuel.
All system types require a common wire (C-Wire).
Q: What systems are NOT compatible with this thermostat?
A: Does not work with electric baseboard heat (110VAC~240V AC), millivolt systems;
Does not support S terminals for indoor and outdoor sensors.
Q: How about the Wi-Fi connectivity about this thermostat?
A: We have conducted iterative testing and upgraded the internal chipset and UI design.
Now, we have successfully resolved the issue of unstable Wi-Fi connection.
Q: Can you set the screen times out?
A: Yes, tap the setting icon on the Menu page, tap the “Screen” button to turn on/off for the “Screen Saver”.
If you want to keep the screen be on all the time, please turn on the “Screen Saver”, or turn off it.
Q: Is this thermostat accurate?
A: Yes, but there may be a slight error, we have tested it many times in various environments and the deviation is not more than 2F.
What If There Is No C-Wire?
If you do not have the C wire, you can try to do as follows, but please confirm with your HVAC manufacturer or the electric engineer firstly.
1. Furnace Part: Put Gwire connect to C terminal, use the black jumper wire connect G and Y or W(if you need heat, connect to W, otherwise connect to Y)
2. Thermostat Part: Connect G wire to C terminal on the wallplate. G terminal on the wallplate is blank.
What is a C-Wire? A C-wire, also known as a common wire or a “continuous wire” It is an electrical wire that provides a constant source of power to a thermostat or other HVAC.

Made my electric bill higher
VINE VINE VINE DO NOT BUY MADE MY ELECTRIC BILL GO UPI had a technician come out and install this for me for $200. It lasted for three months and then the same installer had to come out and uninstall this item and put a new item on that they carried do not buy vine. It is garbage.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
Iâve read off some of these reviews and itâs obvious to me some of these folks didnât even bother to read the instructions. CLOSELYAlso i had my heating/AC guy install the thing. I can tell some of these negative reviews were people who installed it themselves. Even my heating and cooling guy had to look some settings up ie single step or two step ac, etc etc etc. Just pay for the service.My temperature was high at first but as soon as the display timed out (went off) i waited about 10 minutes and pulled up the app on my phone and temp and humidity were spot on.programming was easy as pie. very intuitive.i cannot find anything to complain about except my irrational with these people who donât know how to read directions and who donât know their own limits.

Replaced a Google Nest thermostat with this one. Has never kept an accurate temperature. Easy to use and looks nice, but if a thermostat can’t keep an accurate temperature, it has to go in the “junk” pile.

Stay away from this product!
I installed this thermostat in April 2024(3 Months ago). Since Iâve installed it, Iâve had nothing but trouble with it! I live in Arizona where the summers can reach as high as 120° in the day. This thermostat constantly shuts itself off and becomes hot to the touch. I have to unplug it from the wall and then plug it back in to restart the system. There are days when I come home and the air conditioner has not been running because this thermostat has shut itself off. When using the app most of the time it does not match up to the actual thermostat display. Iâm often Worried about my pets and if they are getting too hot. Iâm going to go back to a Rockwell thermostat. I shouldâve never left them in the first place, but I thought this Vine was cool. Just not worth the aggravation!!!

Recommend it for remote control of your room temperature!
It is convenient to know what is the room temperature when you are away using this wifi connected thermal control. I never need to worry about whether I set the right temperature for the house when we are away.
