Power meter is a little off and there is a slight delay switching on/off
I thought this was matter capable, but it turns out it is only matter capable when going through a switchbot matter capable hub. Not a huge deal but I am working my way towards local only control with my smarthome stuff.The smart outlet is built solid and is about the same size as most other smart outlets with metering.I am happy to see that the plug is tamper resistant, nice added protection for my kids.The app is well built and easy to use. I was easily able to add the outlet to the app.If you have used many other smarthome switches/outlets this one does all the same things: Manual on/off, set schedules, set timer, see current and historical power consumption, one added feature I saw with this is the ability to setup NFC tags so that you can just scan the tag (say one behind a picture frame for example) and you can set it to do one of the following: Turn On, Turn Off, or toggle between on/off.I did have a couple of issues with my outlet.1. There is a delay of around 1/2 to 1 second from when I press the button.2. The power meter is off by a couple watts. My watt meter measured about 215 watts but switchbot said it was 217 watts

Responsive smart plug with energy tracking, and no hub required
The SwitchBot Smart Plug Mini 15A was very easy to setup. Installed the app, it detected the plug via bluetooth, held down the plug side button to sync, connected it to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network, and setup was complete. The plug is very responsive when toggling on/off. You can set a schedule for the plug through the app. The energy tracking works very well and gives historical usage as well, which can be exported from the app. Another huge benefit with the SwitchBot plug is that it does not require a hub. Overall, excellent value and quality smart plug.

Quality smart plug with great features
This is a quality wi-fi plug designed for a 15A circuit. It works perfectly with Google Home and has made my house a bit smarter. The setup was straightforward, and it’s been reliable since I installed it. The app works well, and I like that it can handle higher amperage devices. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t block other outlets, and the scheduling features work as expected. For smart home automation, this is a solid choice that does what it promises.

Very usable wifi plugs
These are nice smart outlet plugs. They have a good form factor and are smaller than many of them which is a plus if you have limited space. They were pretty easy to set up with the app, but I don’t love that you have to use a proprietary app to get them connected. They work well with my alexa once I got through the connection of the app. Overall a good form factor and value, but I took one star off for the app.

My favorite smartplug to date!
As someone who owns a ton of Switchbot devices, I was very excited to see this listed. Getting it set up was fast and easy. Before you know it, I have it linked in the app. The plug can be activated with the tap on the device in the app or the button on the plug itself. In my case, I have the switchbot remote, so I can link the power buttons to it and not need to use the app afterwards.My favorite feature I don’t see with other smart plugs is the ability to see the number of watts being used. For example, I was charging my steam deck with this plug, and it showed that it was using 50w of power. If you use Home Assistant, it also links up to it easily and you can also pull up the chart of the watts it uses over time.I’ve been using this to charge my devices every morning, and I haven’t come across a single issue since. If you already have Switchbot devices in your home, this is a great product to add to your setup. If you’re looking for a great smart plug, you won’t be disappointed with this!
