Works great on my Sony Digital8 camcorder. Not for cell phone use.
I like to use older tape camcorders for my YT channel. Trouble is, those cams often don’t go very wide, and selfie-type shots are next to impossible. This lens fixes that. Hardly any barrel-distortion at all when used on a camcorder. This item also comes with a plastic and rubber clip that lets you mount the lens on the back of any cell phone. I would avoid buying this lens for that purpose. On a cell phone you will get huge barrel-distortion and fish-eye. I think the cell phone clip is just a gimmick to re-market an already decent. lens. Bottom line: Great for camcorders, unusable for cell phones.

Corrects the meter lens issue away from subject with DSLR DVC Camcorder.
I am doing top down action shots with the camcorder the above camera could not focus for close up. This lens combo corrected it’s farsighted vision. The focus decent now to show the detail of what I am doing to my audience. Dragon’s Hoard Design on YT. Will post videos there today.

When I put them on my camera it looks funny as it changes from dark to light. Better without them on. Thought about returning them but to busy to do so.
