Great premium monitor for a reasonable price!
Great monitor, super fast 4k IPS panel with Freesync premium! Mine doesn’t have any dead or stuck pixels that I can see, so I guess I’m luckier than some…it’s always a risk with any monitor. I bought a different brand monitor in the distant past that had a stuck bright red pixel in middle that drove me nuts and I couldn’t return because it was a clearance item!Initially Windows 11 recognizes it but installs a generic driver so you won’t be able to use any advanced features like HDR. In order to get the most out of the monitor make sure you go to the Acer website and download the latest driver for the model. To get there go to the support page and choose the drivers section, type XB323QKV3 in the search box. This will get you to the page where you can download a compressed zip file with the proper driver and color profile for the monitor, just extract the compressed files to a folder on your computer. To install right click on the desktop select display settings. Then click on advanced display settings –> display adapter properties –> monitor tab –> driver tab –> update driver. From there browse your computer for the file folder where you extracted the driver. If you follow all that then congratulations, you should be able to enable HDR for the monitor in Windows 11 and enjoy all the features of your fancy new 4k monitor!Since I don’t have any special tools to measure things like color accuracy and brightness, all I can say is that the colors look fantastic and the monitor is plenty bright for me! I can’t really test the full 160hz gaming performance because I don’t yet have a high end gaming computer that costs the same as the GDP of a small nation…but I will as soon as I win the lottery. Joking aside I am upgrading my computer to a new mid-range system, and I am hoping to get 60-100fps in most games I play…so this monitor is maybe a bit of overkill and future-proofing in case I win the lottery and can upgrade my computer in the future. The monitor has built in speakers, but they’re pretty poor as you’d expect. They work but sound like tiny speakers without any bass, so you’d do well to invest in some headphones or external speakers. On back facing out the bottom on one side you have one display port, and 2x HDMI 2.1 inputs, and one headphone jack. On the other side there is just the power cable connector…that’s it. It does not have any USB ports in case anyone is wondering. I added some pictures of the connections since absolutely nowhere has any pictures of this. Pretty sure there’s no fancy RGB lighting or anything like that since I don’t see anything and there are no menu options for it.If you are looking for a good 4k monitor for a “reasonable” price, this is a great choice. It is a step up from the cheaper VA panels (better colors accuracy and no ghosting I can notice), and competitively priced compared to most of the other IPS (which are mostly 120-144hz) and OLED panels…as well as none of the OLED burn-in or text clarity issues. If you are willing to spend about 2-3x you might be able to get a nicer mini-LED monitor, but those were beyond my budget. So far I love this monitor and don’t regret buying it at all!

XB273K V5bmiiprx Acer Predator Monitor
This monitor has some slight quirks but overall I would say it is a very good monitor for the price.I was looking for a high refresh rate and 4k monitor and this Acer Predator v5 with DFR tech seemed great for the money. I have previously used an Acer 1080p monitor for a long time and was very happy with the quality of that monitor so I tried this one. I am happy with the features on this one. A thing to note is that when you turn on HDR mode, it disables the other picture settings. Also in HDR mode, it doesn’t allow to save the settings to one of its 3 setting options.I haven’t used the saved settings options much because it comes with a great handheld control fob. I find myself using this thing quite a lot to fiddle with the monitor controls to test out the various functions. The fob has a button to alternate between the current saved setting and the previous one. I use it to alternate between the 1080p 320hz DFR for gaming and 2160p 160hz for desktop or movies. This monitor has a surprising amount of useful functions that I didn’t expect. In 320hz 1080p mode if your graphics card is displaying framerate high enough, it might appear a little blurry if you don’t turn on the gaming mode overcharge and VRB settings. This is what they are designed for. It should be noted that if you use VRB, it disables the Freesync premium, so it might be recommended to only use freesync on games with lower refresh rates. As far as what was included in the box, it came with the stand, which has a vertical and swivel adjustment. It also came with a 3ft power cord and a 3ft hdmi cable. So if you need longer cables or a displayport cable, you need to buy them separately. I personally had a 80gbps displayport cable that I had bought and the included power cable was just long enough for me. The power cable is the kind that is just like you plug into PC power supplies. For picture quality, it’s a standard backlight LCD AFAIK. It has brightness and color options, including a low bluelight option. It also has many color save options. It also has a special black level slider that goes from 0-10 but it just seemed to make the monitor lighter or darker to me. It didn’t seem to make the blacks more dark in my estimation. The monitor, by default, searches the various video channels for a picture when the computer turns on. This can be disabled in the monitor settings. It also goes into standby no picture low power mode when the computer instructs it to do so. The screen just turns off when this happens and the power light turns from blue to yellow to indicate so.Overall I’m very happy with the purchase. Acer monitors have a very high quality control and they come with a 3 year warranty. Can’t really ask for more.

Good Monitor, Would Buy Again (hopefully not soon lol)
Absolutely lovely monitor, I love being able to adjust the screen height or angle depending on what I’m watching or where I’m standing. Also, unlike my previous monitor, the image quality is consistent and I’ve yet to encounter any dead pixels or fluctuating brightness. All in all, absolutely worth the price (plus the little remote they include makes messing with the settings 10000% easier than using that weird little knob thing I’ve seen on most models)

Great monitor if your computer can support it
I understand that there are a lot of negative reviews concerning customer service and dead pixels. I did not have to go through customer service and did not have dead pixels, so I could be a lucky one. Otherwise, the monitor works great and does exactly as it should. However, I did run into issues in the first few months, but I think main fault was on the laptop I was using at that time. I had the monitor set to 4k on a laptop with a 3060 (only actually used 4k on the desktop screen for my wallpaper) and experienced bad flickering, even when adjusting a game’s resolution to 1080p. This happened usually when playing games and made the experience frustrating. However, I have now upgraded to a desktop with a 3070 and the monitor runs like a dream. No flickering, amazing picture quality, and no problems like others have stated.

Good monitor but low contrast so in dark games you will see a lot of backlight and it doesn’t look great, however for watching videos and playing other games it looks great, almost no ghosting. The panel is a very polarizing ips so the edges of the screen look noticably dimmer if you are sitting close to it (very noticeable on blank white screen). I have a bright room and the brightness is no problem, but you have to activate high brightness mode in the OSD. HDR mode disables brightness control so I don’t use it but “general mode” in the color options works fine albeit the monitor has high saturation.

WOW! Literally blown away with this monitor! Vibrant and sharp. Very bright, and crisp in images and text. 160hz speed, with 0,5ms response time. Definitely a must have if you are a gamer, or if you work in an office environment. Pricing was also very reasonable on Amazon, although you may find better pricing during Black Friday deals. Lost a Dell 2407WFP after 10 years, so had to get another monitor for the desktop setup (Macbook Pro 15, with 2 additional monitors. Got another Dell S2721QS to match, but unfortunately, Mac OS sees two identical monitors, and will only operated them in mirror mode. Sent the Dell back, and got this one as it is full UHD. Was the best choice! Highly recommend this monitor.
