Good brightness and audio output is nice
I bought this for use in our conference room because of its brightness, resolution, and ability to output audio to an external amplifier. My coworkers were satisfied with the quality, so I ordered another one for one of our other conference rooms. Neither room has any windows, so I can’t comment on performance in a well lit room, but in a room with no natural light it looks great. The built-in speaker doesn’t have the best sound quality, but that is expected with an internal speaker. I would suggest using an external amplifier and speakers if sound quality is a concern. I could also see this as a good option for a home theater projector. Overall I would recommend this for a conference room projector if you’re looking for good brightness and 1080P resolution.

Great gaming projector
I have my ps4 and desktop PC connected to this ceiling mounted projector using a long HDMI cable and an HMDI splitter switch. crisp and clear 1080p HD video. bright display even with room lights on. great for gaming, sports and movie watching. bought a sound bar that I attached to the top of the projector screen housing and I have a sweet setup for the man cave.

Solid Projector
I purchased this for a program at work. Their biggest need was a projector where you could pass audio thru the projector out to an external set of speakers and this machine does it. It works well, and the built in speaker is powerful enough to handle smaller meetings. So far so good. One thing I’d say is the color reproduction looked a little funky.

Questionable Brightness and Not Great Color
Compared to my 3-year-old Epson EX7235 which is a 3000 lumen projector, the BenQ MH733 does not do very well.Comparing overall brightness, the Epson is just as bright even though it is 1000 lumens less bright.Comparing color, the Benq’s reds kind of look more brown, and the color in general doesn’t appear near as smooth as my older Epson. So… I ending up returning the Benq and purchasing an Epson EX9220 and doing the same comparison. It is noticably brighter than the EX7235, but the colors still look great. So even though the Benq has a few more features than the Epson, the Epson looks noticably better in brighter ambient light conditions and is the clear winner in picture quality.

Bright, beautiful image right out of the box!
Bright, stunning image quality right out of the box! I know this is a business projector but I am using this in my living room as our main display. I am amazed at how beautiful the image is –projectors really have come far in terms of quality and price and this particular one is a fantastic option! Highly recommended!

Awesome for the price
I got two of these for my office. They do everything I need, plus some features I didn’t even know I wanted! Worked great right out of the box.

Second Major Keystone Fail with this projector
The amount of frustration this projector has caused prompted me to write my first Amazon review. I bought one of these, and immediately out of the box keystone functions did not work. I pressed the button, the arrow light blinked, seeming to indicate it received the input, but the numbers didn’t change nor did the picture. Fine. I returned it and got a replacement, as this model seemed ideal for my brightness requirements and picture quality. This one has been working and we’ve really enjoyed home cinema viewing, as well as a couple work presentations. However, tonight we went to set it up again at home after it was out for a work meeting, and the keystone functions again don’t work. Neither does the Fit Corner function. This is maddening, as it is now past the 30 day mark since the purchase. We tried different ports, different HDMI cables, using the remote instead…nothing. Has anyone else had this issue? This feels absurd for such a crucial function to fail on two consecutive products. Overall, a very dicey purchase. I am extremely disappointed and wish the company would address this issue.

This projector is perfect for my use : normal living room for watching movies or playing games. It’s marketed as a conference room projector, but the color saturation from the 4 LEDs + DLP is very good and the color are pretty vivid (better than a PT-RZ570). Contrast is probably not the best, but the high brightness means it can be used in a normal living room even without the curtains closed : not optimal, but still usable. The projected image is about 120 inches in my setup on a standard quality screen. As it’s a single chip DLP, there is still some rainbow effect (much less than a PT-RZ570), but it’s really low. I think it’s the closest one can get to a 3 chip DLP without the price tag. The manual says it can accept 1080p 120 hz which it does, but the only way I could actually display a 1080p 120 hz content was when I activated the sequencial frame 3d option with 2d content : the catch is that the image is half the brightness. Compared to a PT-RZ570, the white brightness seems lower, but the whites are on the same brightness level compared to the colors (which the PT-RZ570 can’t do). It’s also quieter than a PT-RZ570. Overall, it’s an impressive projector that I don’t regret buying.
