I spent a few hours today throwing numerous iperf3 tests at this switch trying to get it to choke and it’s been handling the abuse like a champ. It adds a negligible amount of latency and hasn’t dropped any packets during my stress tests. I have it powered with a POE to 12v 2a barrel jack adapter. The switch itself takes 12v 1a input so it’s kind of a bummer they didn’t just make it POE capable to begin with. But these POE adapters are cheap and work all the same anyways.The switch itself does tend to get a bit warm but it’s nothing outrageous that will cause a fire. It has a small footprint and easily mounts under my desk

Well made, unusual features for this price point.
This switch has a lot of local management features which I donât really need, and can do port aggregation. As a simple unmanaged switch, it works really well, has been reliable, has great throughput however it does run quite warm. It is an acceptable value for the cost. It seems well-made and Iâm glad we bought it.

Easy plug n play, High speed data xfer rate.
Works great. Cat 5 Ethernet cable in from my cable modem. Cat 8 jumper to my WIFI router. Have extra ports for other devices. Got over 700 Mbits/sec WIFI on my iPhone. Was about 400 Mbits before.

Great little 2.5Gb switches for a great price. I bought three of these and have my network and access points running at full bandwidth. Easy to setup which is plug and play. Easy to use, stable connectivity.

Good value. No specific 2.5 gb activity LED.
This is a competent switch for budget 2.5 gb networking. The enclosure is plastic rather than metal like most gear, but it’s sturdy enough. My big complaint is there’s only a single activity LED per port and it doesn’t distinguish between 2.5 or 1 gb traffic, which I consider essential for troubleshooting connection issues between nodes. Unfortunately I did not pay attention to this missing feature until I had already ordered 2 of them, being solely focused on price. I would have given it a higher rating if it had standard LED indicators (even a single LED with 2 colors would suffice). A minor complaint is that the port numbers are raised on the plastic case (white on white), which makes them somewhat hard to distinguish with less than bright lighting. Nothing that a Sharpie can’t fix, but then again, I shouldn’t have to.

I was having drops in my home network, and after some tinkering i realized that my older 2.5 switch was the the problem and it had to be replaced. I needed something moderately priced, and after looking i found this switch on amazon. i never heard of the company, but the price and the reviews encouraged me to buy this switch.now, it’s been a week since i got this switch and used it and I’m happy to report that it’s working well. I’ve got all ports occupied and transferred some files from my NAS to my PC and I got the full speed of advertised 2.5GB speed. Another comforting point is that this network switch doesn’t get as hot as my previous one. hopefully this is a good sign that it’ll last longer.
