Iâm a Quality Manager for petrochemical and pipeline industries. Second smartwatch other than an Apple. Was VERY skeptical and took 2 weeks of researching before I pulled the trigger on carbinox. NOT disappointed at all. Simple apps, not a bunch of extra crap. Exactly what i needed and wanted in a smartwatch. First week in and no connectivity issues, battery charged once after opening and 3 days in with 57% at moment. No complaints whatsoever. Recommend to anyone seeking simplicity and durability. Will update review down the road if something changes negatively.

Carbinox Vortex Review
I was looking for a smartwatch that was durable, and could handle all the stress i put on it for work. And I can honestly say I found it in the Vortex!I’ve had it for approximately 2 months. And I work wear it everyday for work, 50 to 60 hours a week of Blue Collar work and it still doesn’t have a scratch in it yet. I absolutely love it. Plus I love all the features, and me sweating all day doesn’t affect it since it’s waterproof, lightweight and all the instruments for my health measurements are accurate and on point. I love the app quality through my phone and the relationship with notifications between my phone and watch. Overall, would definitely recommend!

So far..GREAT watch however I need to charge it more than expected
This is the first smartwatch I have owned so I am learning as I go. Quality seems really good. The watch has a nice weight feel but not “heavy” on my arm. The glass face is definitely scratch resistant. The band does seem flimsy and could be the weakest link, however it is holding up well so far. I like the health monitoring options and the app works great.I like that the watch reminds me to get up and move if it notices I am stationary for too long. Lots of features that I have yet to explore. I am excited to utilize the fitness tracker for outdoor spring/summer activities. So far, I have used it to track winter activities with great results. The only downside I have noticed so far is the charger base and need to recharge the watch more often than what was advertised. The charger base that came with the watch could use a larger base and longer cord. Additionally, after about 4 days, starting with a full charge, I noticed the watch battery gets down to about 30% so I do not agree that it will hold a charge for 15 or so days with regular use however it may be a learning curve on my part to close unused apps and control the background running options to conserve battery power.Overall, I am very satisfied and would purchase again.

Itâs okay.
Itâs a cool watch. It doesnât last not even a week on a single charge, maybe few days(3-4) at most for the battery unless I just got a bad one. Pretty simple to set up. Pretty basic music function, play /pause, back , next. I wish the customization for the faces was better than having to just choose from a selection. The workout function doesnât seem to recognize when I am actually working out but it does recognize me as sitting down then saying âlooks like your working outâ so i donât know what thatâs about. The alarm has been pretty good about actually being loud and vibrating to wake me up. Iâm returning mine and gonna debate with myself about trying a different one because of the whole battery thing. If I get the same results then yeah $160 for it is a bit much in my book. I recommend getting a different wrist band because the strap holder that holds the rest of the strap will slide up when youâre just doing anything more than a slight jog or something that involves little bit more moving causing the strap to flap. All in all it is a cool watch with a variety of features to which some I take with a grain of salt (Blood pressure, Stress, Emotion) .

Great watch!
Got the watch for a Fatherâs Day gift and I love it. Only charged the watch twice in almost a month! The only complaints I have is you cannot text with the watch and sometimes it doesnât refresh the weather automatically. But overall itâs extremely durable and just a great watch. The band is a little small for someone with bigger wrist so Iâd look into a bigger band if you are a big guy. Has a pretty loud speaker and is clear when making voice calls.

Great Gift!
Bought this for my son in law for Christmas last year and he loves it! He’s really impressed with the battery life, how easy it is to use, and how well it’s held up through work and outdoor activities. Really happy with this purchase!

Works fine
Received the watch and found it very easy to set up with my Android phone. So far it seems to live up to as advertised. It comes with screen protectors but they are very difficult to install without air bubbles. Some reviews complained the band was too small, but I did not find that to be the case, and I have a large wrist. For the price the watch is a good buy with many functions, and I would recommend it. The health functions seem to be fairly accurate however I have not compared the readings to more sophisticated medical devices. The walking step count shows a little less steps than my previous smart watch over the same distance.
