Easy install works great.
These lights are fantastic however, one thing to keep in mind the light itself only has five different shades of white. It is not multicolored as well. They do work perfectly for dark hallways, and areas where you would like to have a nightlight.

Light Sits Flat Against The Ceiling And Are Simple To Install!!
Love these lights and no more fighting each light bulb coming out of the fixture at a different length!! Simple to put in and the app is very basic but if you can use a phone you can set these lights up the way you want on the app. They are simple to install as long as you have lights already in the location youâre trying to put these lights in. They sit flat against that ceiling which is one of the reasons I bought them and they do a secondary color around the ring which I absolutely LOVE!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very poor.quality and no service at all.Don’t buy please. Once purchase and found issue there is no customer service to help you. Don’t get trap from good reviews. I did the same mistake. Please stay away. See the video of the issue. The flickers unnecessary. Also smart app is not user friendly. Cheap software .

They Work Pretty Well but aren’t Perfect
Overall I like these lights. They replaced regular can lights in my kitchen and living room. I had my handyman install them, and he got 11 lights up and working in just under two hours. They look very nice, and the ability to change the color of the rims is very cool. Download the app and connecting them was pretty easy, as well connecting them to Alexa. My only complaint is that they work just fine when using the app or Alexa, or when using the regular light switch to turn them off – but when I want to turn them on with the light switch – half of them have the white part of the light on and the other half only have the rim turned on. It seems to me that when you turn them on with the switch they should go on to whatever you had when you last set them with the app. Because of this, I’m only rating them a 3 instead of a 5. And I’ve decided not to use them in my hallway or bathroom because I don’t want to be required to use the app or Alexa to turn them on properly.

Cloudy Bay is a great lighting company
I have purchased multiple types of lights from Cloudy Bay, and multiple sets of some. I had a problem only once, and they were quick to resolved it with rush shipping of a part. Their boxes have “wago” like lever connectors, making installation quick. Also has a strain-relief/grommet to protect the incoming romex. Many of the other companies do not provide this. I will by more Cloudy Bay products.

These are very nice recessed lights that are very easy to install who they can easily add a modern fill to any room they are installed in and for the price they can’t be beat overall very happy with them.

Pretty good
My only issue is that I wish they were brighter, they aren’t dim but rather not enough in small numbers. With that out of the way, the app and setup were simple and worked the first time for me. The app controls, while not as fully featured as some I’ve used, worked reliably. They do keep their memory of the last settings if you cut power to them. Install was very easy (hole saws can be reasonably cheap if you need, and no screws are required).
