No sound issues, high quality output.
Honestly works fantastic, colors are bright and easy to see, the animations are smooth and flow like water. It is incredibly relaxing.I didn’t care about the sound feature at all, the sound quality is about what you’d expect from a small cheap speaker embedded in the plastic shell. Does it work? Yes. Is the sound clear? Mmm yeah, but it still sounds like a cheap crappy speaker. Simple solution, get your sound out of a real speaker, this isn’t a sound device.Apparently people got bad models or have very sensitive hearing in regard to the motors, Govee even sent me a email right after it was delivered explaining how they measured the sound etc. I cannot hear it, the thing is dead silent. Maybe I got a revised version, but I can’t hear anything from it even if I try.Govee app has all the features and options you would expect from their products and you can do all sorts of customizing and scene creation in the app.Overall, if you are looking for the light function, espically if you already have Govee products, this is a great product.

Beautiful, easy, customizable
I looked at the reviews of several of these lights. I was convinced to buy this one when it went on sale, because it had some features others didnât, like adjustable star lights and a tilting mount to allow for directing the lights where you want.The light pattern is beautiful and mesmerizing. I have it near my bed aimed at the ceiling. Itâs nice for winding down.For those who read reviews closely, I wanted to chime in on drawbacks that others said.1) It seems silly to say that the light pattern moves too quickly or that the light isnât bright enough, because downloading the app allows you to change the relative brightness and speed of movement for both the stars and the aurora individually as well as the overall brightness. When I first turned it on, I thought the movement and light level were perfect, but thatâs a matter of taste.2) The âloudâ whirring sound is really not that loud. You would have to prefer absolute silence (which is usually impossible to achieve) for this to be loud. Itâs noticeable, but seemed very light compared to what some of the reviews suggested.Some drawbacks:1) itâs original price of about $80 seemed too much to me, especially since it didnât have its own power block. But for the quality and variety of options, the sale price of $55 is worth it to me. And I happened to have a pack of USB power blocks I already bought that worked great.2) If youâre interested in the white noise selection, personally I only like one of them. Some of this is taste. I donât prefer bird sounds as white noise or wind chimes. But the kinds I do usually like (wind, water) were not good sound quality. The one titled âdrizzleâ is the only one Iâd probably use and maybe one of the soothing music sounds.3) It would be nice if the stars covered more of the overall pattern and werenât so compact.However, I do really like that the stars move, and the app control is really easy and a nice feature, especially since I plan to use this as I am laying in bed before sleep. It basically makes your phone a remote control.Overall, Iâm really happy with this, and I even was thinking of people I wanted to give this to, so long as the sale continues.

Bright and feature-rich projector
This was the brightest, most impressive, and customizable projector of the ones I’ve tried, but at a higher price and a significantly bigger footprint. For $80 it really should include a USB power brick. I don’t have any use for the laser stars and white noise features. Even when I turned off the laser stars I found the motor noise distracting but YMMV.A brief summary of the projectors I’ve tried:Govee Star Light Projector (this item) – Adjustable tilt mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, good iOS app, relatively loud motors. Bottom line: Pricey, bulky & relatively loud; I didn’t keep this oneBlissLights Velarus – Adjustable tilt mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: My favorite projector with the only weakness being the audible motorBlissLights Sky Lite Evolve – Adjustable tilt mount, colors not as vivid as the Velarus, pleasing nebula/cloud-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: Excellent option if you want laser starsENBRIGHTEN Aurora Crystal-Ball Galaxy Projector – Fixed-angle mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, no app control, super quiet motor. Bottom line: Almost silent and very reasonably priced; would be perfect if the projection angle could be adjusted

Love this projector!
Can’t recommend Govee products enough. Saw this on a targeted ad and we already loved the smart bulbs. We decided to give this projector a try and it didn’t disappoint. I’m a fan of soft lighting at night so it creates the perfect atmosphere for winding down. The app is user friendly and lets you coordinate all your Govee products to fit the vibe you need. There are so many different color options and customizations. The speaker is also fairly decent if you like using white noise to fall asleep. It shuts off after a set amount of time, so it’s great for falling asleep to.

ITS SOOOO GORGEOUS!!!There is music and ambient sound that you can choose. Itâs so relaxing and calming. We have a lot of Govee product but this one is by far my favorite one. There is no sound really that gets out of the machine. Itâs on the top of my shelf and I hear nothing. It makes my whole room looks so beautiful. Iâm obsessed. Itâs such a great investment. You can choose the sound ( even put music ) create new design, choose where you want the stars and the aurora.

I am pleased with how this looks the app isn’t too bad. The packaging is silly with how much foam it uses however that is always annoying to dispose of so it looses a star for that.

This is an amazing projector and so much better than the cheaper ones. Weâve bought the $30 variety in the past, which are fine, but nothing compared to this one. The effects are just so much better and there are endless options plus the ability to customize. It can also be synced to your music for a coordinated light show. Iâm always impressed with Govee products and this one does not disappoint. Worth every penny.

Câest très beau, ce que je recherchais , mais lâunité a commencé à faire du bruit après environ 2 semaines seulement..Utilisation très modérée.Maintenant après une utilisation de plus de 30 minutes, le bruit se fait entendre, comme si le moteur forçait, ou quelque chose frottait.Je nâose pas le laisser marcher quand il fait ce bruit.
