They’re what you expect.
Most of these things are about the same. A thin mesh nylon sheet, somehow adhered to a vinyl frame with weak magnetic strips. Slap ’em to the outside of a case, or even mount directly with existing fan mounting screws.These models in particular come with “Nano Gel-Mat” pads, which are the little white YAMITEEC branded strips you see in the product imaged. These pads can optionally be stuck… somewhere. For some purpose. I have no idea what the intended function of these little pads are, but they didn’t come packaged with similar nylon screens from other vendors… so… that’s a plus, I guess. I suppose you could hypothetically use them between a fan and case to reduce vibration. Possibly between screen frame and fan, for similar purposes – though the pads will not run the length of your fame and create a gap for dust to pass. These little things are throwaway, for me. But mentioning it just the same in case anyone else has a clue.There’s not really anything to say. The models I purchased were 120mm and fit accordingly, and nylon screens do what you expect – filter way more than just about any other screen, without significantly affecting airflow. TECHNICALLY they will, especially as they get caked in dust, but that is also where nylon excels being so tough and easily cleaned. So long as you don’t mount these with screws, you can just peel the thing off give it a quick dust, or even rinse, and slap it back in place. EZ.Highly recommend nylon case filters like these over any PVC. No difference in cost, so no reason otherwise, unless you REALLY need something rigid, like directly against an exposed fan.

Overall quality
These dust filters are great for my pc that donât have some. I have used them for about a month and my pc has little to no dust inside because it catches it. It preforms good and airflow is great through then.

Good Filter, Mesh does not have enough tension.
Filter well, however, the mesh does not have enough tension, and cannot be mounted directly to the intake fan, as it will interfere with the fan blade movement.

Easy to use
Fine nylon mesh is way better than those PVC type mesh with 0.8mm holes. Better airflow and less restrictive.Magnetic isn’t crazy strong. Just like your typical refrigerator magnets. Enough to hold on to metal surfaces. Use it on my 45Drive HL15 case.I bought both 120mm & 140mm. Corners of the 120mm is more beveled. The 140mm maybe due to Q/C felt lower quality, but functionally works the same.

Really inexpensive considering I recall having purchased filters nearly identical to these from a premium brand at a premium price.Airflow naturally gets restricted a little when you install these on a PC, but I dremeled out the fan hole’s steel mesh on my PC case to unrestrict a little airflow, so…? I suppose it cancels out.You may find that one or two of the sides of these won’t lay flat on your PC case. At least for me, this was my experience when placing it on the bottom fan (where my case is made of aluminum and not steel). It’s not impossible to get it to lay flat, you just will have to loosen all four of your fan screws a little, then either play finger twister with your hand to hold it down while tightening the screws, OR use tape to aid installation. Experiment with tightening screws round robin, or perhaps tighten one corner then the opposite corner immediately after. There’s a trick to it, and it’s not too difficult to figure out. You’ll see as you try. The key is just to get all screws 80% tightened so the filter has no tension dragging it anywhere when you start.As for the filter itself, it’s premium nylon mesh. Doesn’t get any better than this if that’s what you’re after.

Magnet is on only one side. If it doesn’t stick it uses the same steel many refrigerator uses or it’s an aluminum case.I found out that stainless steel refrigerator are often none magnetic like all my expensive stainless steel cookware that didn’t work on my induction oven. Now days even the cheapest stainless pot is magnetic.

I got this for a PC in a sometimes dusty environment (the garage) and the filters are good quality and attach easily and would definitely keep out a lot of dust but they had too big an impact on the airflow, way more than you would imagine to look at them.In the end I tested by blowing on my arm and then moving the filter in between and … wow, you suddenly hardly feel a thing!Ultimately my fault for buying the wrong thing, but consider getting a less fine mesh version unless you know you really need that level of filter.

Bad seal if you use screws for Corsair LX/LX-R/RX 120mm fans, but “works” alright if you just use the magnetics.Possible to make it work with screw with a bit of DIY.Packaging is terrible for the tape things, if you plan to use those. Half were unusable.Overall, decent for the price.
