Reigns As The Best Value Speaker In Itâs Class A+
There seems to be some mixed reviews on this $50 speaker (on Prime Day Special), but considering everything, it far exceeds other sneakers of its size, price in my opinion. For reference, Iâm no audiophile but have a hobby in collecting/finding the best quality Bluetooth speakers as I love music.I bought a $150 Bose Flex 2 Soundlink as well to compare (as theyâre similar in size) and while they have different sound signatures, the Earfun seems to have a more comprehensive, balanced, full sound that I prefer (after downloading the app and setting the speaker to Oluvâs EQ tuning).Initially out of the box, the speaker sounded decent (but agree with other reviews, slightly muddy) but it wasnât until getting the app and applying Oluvâs EQ preset until the speaker really shined. The separation between the highs, mids, lows, punchy yet tight bass came through when comparing various genres.I was somewhat doubtful and hesitant initially about the hype & when purchasing said to myself âif itâs not that good then Iâll just return it and keep the Boseâ but after some initial testing will be happily keeping this Earfun and saving myself the $100 & returning the Bose 🙂 of course, there will be some subjective taste/preference and some may prefer Boseâs signature sound but after comparison Boseâs sound seems more compressed, artificial vs Earfun comes through more naturally, full and wide.No connectivity issues for me so far, speaker pairs well and the Bluetooth connection is stable.Hopefully this review is helpful on your decision and if anything, $50 for this speaker is an absolute deal!CheersAs a side reference, based on my personal Bluetooth speaker journey Iâve come to keep:-for the best compact speaker, the Tribit Stormbox Micro-the best portable speaker with insane bass response, Harmon Kardon Onyx-most clear/open sound stage, the B&O Beosound-best value well rounded compact speaker, the Earfun Uboom L 🙂

Big Sound, Solid Build, and an Incredible Value
After trying out several Bluetooth speakers in this price range, the Uboom L stands out as one of the best Iâve used. The sound quality is bold and immersive, with 30W of power delivering rich lows and clean highs that really bring music to life. What impressed me most is the 360° soundâit actually works. No matter where you place the speaker in the room or outside, it fills the space evenly without losing clarity or punch. The build feels sturdy and durable, with a rugged rubberized exterior that gives me confidence taking it on the go. Itâs IP67 rated, so itâs both waterproof and dustproof, and Iâve had no problems using it at the beach or by the pool. Itâs also survived a couple of minor drops without any noticeable damage, which says a lot about its durability.Battery life has been excellent, easily lasting 14 to 16 hours on a single charge with moderate volume. It uses USB-C for charging, which is a nice modern touch, and the speaker doesnât take too long to top up. The Bluetooth connection is rock solid as wellâfast pairing, no dropouts, and stable playback even when I walk a good distance away with my phone. One unexpected bonus is the built-in EQ modes, which you can switch between with a button on the speaker. They actually make a difference depending on whether youâre indoors or outdoors, and itâs a simple feature that adds a lot of value. Pairing two of them in stereo mode works great too, and gives you an even bigger soundstage without any sync issues. For the price, the Uboom L punches well above its weight. Itâs reliable, loud, and built to handle real-world use without cutting corners. If youâre looking for a tough, great-sounding portable speaker that wonât break the bank, this is one of the best options out there right now.

Better than JBL and half the price
almost unbelievable sound quality for a 50-60 bucks speaker. I paired two in TWS and I just cannot believe the quality. I’ve had several JBL speakers over the years, but these Earfun speakers blow JBL away. The bass is incredible; clear, elevated and multi-dimensional – not just a loud boom. To me, the best feature is that they are directional, whereas JBL speakers (most of them) are 360 degree sound. If (like me) you’re listening to music on your patio, why would you want to bother the neighbors with 360 degree sound when you can have all the auditory details to yourself. I’m concerned that “Earfun” will be bought out by a big-brand and charge three times the price. Get them NOW before that happens

Latency when watching video is too high, even with the video mode enabled.Sound is ok but not great. Low on bass and general crispness of the sound.Volume controls directly control your devices audio, which i dont like because i cant control the sound volume as finely as id like.Ok build quality, ok price.Got this one because reviews where good.I do not agree and will not get a second unit as planned to try the stereo function.
