very sturdy and easy to install
iâve had my desk for a number of years now and it holds two systems so there is always two keyboards on top. three if you count the midi keyboard but i digress. i recently got the bug to consolidate space so i started looking for a keyboard drawer. apparently they have easy ones that you can clamp to the edge of the desk but i wanted the old style keyboard drawer. this looked to be stylistic and durable and it includes a sliding mouse tray. installation was easy peasy lemon squeezy. and i didnât have to flip my desk over. it was pretty simple to do. sliding action is smooth and it works well. love it.

Things to consider
Great budget pieceThe main target for this product are1. Students, who have textbooks, pages, and notebooks on the desk, and2. People whose monitors / screens are pretty close to the edge of the desk and they could use a little room to lean back, get some distance from the screen, and type on the keyboard and fit something else in front of the monitor, like a snack, beverage, or what-not.This is made of plastic. The guides and connectors are metal, but the tray is not. If you are willing to spend more, you can get the whole thing out of metal, and I wouldn’t be as afraid of scratching or damaging it.It needs to come down lower. You’re going to want to find some wood spacers half inch to an inch if you want to use it without pulling it out all the way. It’s a little gummy at the end of the track when you pull it out all the way. This means that it is quiet, but it also means that it’s not very satisfying when you’ve pulled it out completely, and gets a little stuck there if you tug on it.If you already have a spacious desk space, I think you’ll end up using this like a little drawer, which is fine. It’s just more natural and convenient to have the keyboard on top of the desk most of the time. This just gives you a choice. The installation wasn’t too difficult for me because I put it on a standing desk, but if it is a cramped space underneath it, maybe it wouldn’t be as easy.

Easy to mount, works great, decently sturdy, great for price
I’d been looking for a desk mounted keyboard tray for some time that would work for my setup at home. I have two tables I could potentially set up on, but neither has a good height for using a keyboard and mouse. Products range in style and price quite a bit, and I didn’t find many I liked right away. This one jumped at me because it was mounted with screws under the desk and had an extendable tray for the mouse, and was just the right size. I use a full-size keyboard and a trackball mouse so the pad doesn’t need to be huge for my needs. The product looks great, feels sturdy, and was an easy install. They provide a great instructional video on install also on Amazon, worth watching. One issue I’ve seen is that it really doesn’t come down quite far enough, even though it has 3 different height levels. I am at the lowest setting, and I would like it to come down 1/2 inch more or so as an option. Another issue is that the pull-out mouse pad definitely feels like it wiggles and wobbles a bit, despite the track feeling quite sturdy. I can’t figure out how to fix this issue, but it is bearable for the price.Final comment: if this is the style you want and the dimensions you need, I absolutely recommend this for the price.

Very functional easy install!
Works well I do wish there was a lip to keep the mouse from getting bumped off. It is sturdy and very easy to install.

Great deal. Works Great.
This tray is perfect and works well with the inexpensive stand-up desks available on Amazon with no modifications. It’s very sturdy and I really like the mouse tray.

GOOD IDEA BUT HAS DESIGN FLAW – Can only fit keyboard up to 7 1/2″ deep
Fellowes Office Suites Underdesk Keyboard Drawer, Black/Silver (9140303)There are a lot very pricey underdesk keyboard trays and this one falls in the middle price range so I opted for it. I gave it 3 stars because in the right situation, this could be the best keyboard drawer/tray out there, except for the tray size. I was so bummed! Read for details and see the pictures and video. The Good:1. Installing it is fairly easy but you must use the template to position the screws.2. Drawer slides back and forth smoothly on a metal track but offers enough resistance that it wont’ be sliding back in while you’re typing.3. Although mostly plastic – it is solid sturdy plastic.4. Adjustable height tray, meaning it can hang below your desktop 1.5 inches to 3 inches.5. The tray offers plenty of length — 20″ — more than enough really.6. Pull out mouse pad on right side of tray. It’s sturdy with plenty of area 7″ x 7 1/2″ . If you’re a lefty, this may not be good for you.The Not So Good / Depends1. The built-in wrist support is 2 3/4 inch deep. Could be good, but my keyboard already has that so the distance from edge of tray to where my fingers meet the keys is 4 inches. It feels a bit uncomfortable at first, but I could get used to it.2. A “stop” bar at back edge of tray to prevent the keyboard from slipping off the back. Again a good idea, but causes problems – see below. The Bad (Deal Breaker)None of my keyboards fit in the tray space! (see pictures). The usable front to back length is 7 1/2 inches. Even though the flat part of the tray is nearly 8 1/2 inches front to back, you can only use about 7 1/2 inches. Why? Because the “stop” feature is built in and will not extend to the back edge of the tray. (see picture).I understand why they have the stop, but it should have been designed to extend the full length of the tray. Oddly, it’s an adjustable stop that slides but it only gives you 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 depth. I haven’t found any keyboard that small yet.Currently, I have my keyboard in the tray with the top edge of it resting on the “stop”. That puts it at a slight angle and I thought this would be O.IK.But unfortunately, the key board tilts and rocks like a see-saw. (see video) The only way to fit my keyboard in would be to break off the plastic stop. I will probably do that, because otherwise, I really love this tray.

Product i recieved was made from cheap plastic mould, no finishing, different look and fragile. Its hardly worth 800 bucks (against charging 3k) , and actually useless. Good that i could return it. Avoid it.

Works great. Easy to install. On my desk I had to turn it upside down so I can accurately line it up correctly and screw it on to the underneath of the table. Well built solid construction. Would I buy this one again? YES.
