*A Game-Changing Smart Thermostat!*
I recently installed the Google Nest Thermostat in my home, and I’m blown away by its performance! The setup process was a breeze, and the Google Home app made it easy to integrate with my existing smart home devices. The thermostat’s learning algorithm is impressive, as it quickly adapted to my schedule and preferences to optimize temperature adjustments. The energy efficiency features are also a big plus, as it helps me save energy by automatically switching to an energy-saving mode when I’m away from home. The design of the thermostat is sleek and modern, and it looks great on my wall. The separate temperature sensor is also a great feature, as it allows for more accurate readings and can be placed in any room.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the Google Nest Thermostat, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart and efficient thermostat.*Pros:*- Easy setup and integration with Google Home- Smart temperature control and energy efficiency features- Sleek and modern design- Separate temperature sensor for accurate readings*Cons:* None!*Recommendation:* If you’re looking for a top-notch smart thermostat, look no further than the Google Nest Thermostat. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to upgrade their home’s heating and cooling system.

â¨Game-Changing Google Nest Temperature Sensor â Perfect for Uneven Home Temperatures!
I had no idea the Google Nest Temperature Sensor even existed, and when I first learned about it, I was honestly skeptical. However, I decided to give it a try because our master bedroom consistently gets about 9°F warmer than our downstairs, creating an uncomfortable sleeping environment. Let me tell you, this little device has been an absolute game-changer!The sensor was incredibly easy to set up â it paired seamlessly with our Google Nest Thermostat through the Google Home app in just a few minutes. The quality feels solid, with a sleek, unobtrusive design that blends into our bedroom decor. Placing it in our master bedroom allowed us to prioritize that roomâs temperature, and now our thermostat adjusts based on the sensorâs readings rather than the downstairs temperature. This has made our bedroom so much more comfortable, especially at night, and has significantly improved our sleep quality. What I love most is the flexibility. You can schedule the sensor to focus on specific rooms at different times, which is perfect for homes with uneven temperatures or for monitoring spaces like a childâs or babyâs room to ensure theyâre at the ideal temperature. The shipping was fast, and the packaging was secure, ensuring the sensor arrived in perfect condition. For anyone dealing with temperature inconsistencies in their home or wanting precise control over specific rooms, I canât recommend the Google Nest Temperature Sensor enough. Itâs been such a fantastic addition to our smart home setup, and weâre thrilled with the results. 5 stars all the way

Life saver!! Perfect to set temp to specific room or location
Life saver! Thank goodness i found this! It is so easy to setup and works like a dream. During winter, the main thermostat is in direct line of the sun and it then thinks it is over 90 degrees in the house and turns on emergency system when in fact it is 60 inside. The dot works perfectly so I never have to worry about this again! (i even had an electrician come in to quote moving the thermostat until I found this!)

Backwards compatible with 3rd generation Nest TStat
Bought because it works with 3rd generation thermostat. Setup was easy .. kind of… it did just hang up during “pairing” mode. Waited 10min and then just exited. Somehow it showed up. I think the previous 2nd generation was a higher build quality, that’s just being picky. It works that same as the prior generation , as far as temperature accuracy , and Bluetooth/ wifi range. Live in a condo so no issues with interference from neighbors , and stays connected( about 40ft ) to main thermostat.

Let down. Bad support. Bad QA.
It was easy to install these. That’s a 5/5. Where this product fails short is the sensors keep reading Unresponsive to HVAC. I spent 2 hours with their text based support and that fixed them temporarily. Then it happened again where I ended up having to spend an hour with tech support on the phone. After all of this they basically told me “we don’t know what’s going on and we can’t find your serial numbers but we’ll keep looking”. Which I have had 0 follow up on but they assured me that they were working. This is google support not seller support. Also the serial numbers don’t match what is on the case vs what is in the google home app. Which, guess what? They never have seen before.Terrible connectivity issues even if 15 feet away. Terrible Google support. Sure they care but they can’t fix anything.Do not buy the thermostat nor the sensors since they have horrible build quality and a horrible QA process. The worst QA I’ve seen so far.

Great addition to my system.
Fantastic addition to my dual zone nest thermostat system. It’s great to have temp controlled based on different rooms and Nest does a good job folding the appropriate temperature sensor for a given time of day into the routine. They don’t work quite as cleanly with Nest Gen 3 as they do with Gen 4, but still do work fine.

Easy to pair, temp reading seems accurate, easy to install and setup, and it works seamlessly with my next 3 thermostat.

Easy to install and worked great with my nest. I can monitor the temp on all floors now. Only had it for 3 months so I am curious on the battery life and how I replace them.

If you have a Google nest thermostat that is compatible with these sensors and can justify the average of $50 per cents cost then these might actually be something that can improve your heating and cooling needs in your house, granted you follow the instructions and use them as their intended to be used. The trick with these sensors is to see which room or rooms have a much different temperature than the rest of them and then you open and close your vent registers as needed to average it out.For example, if your bedroom is 5° more than your living room, close your bedroom register and keep your living room register open. This will force more air to the room that is needed.Caution note, however: try different variations and monitor overtime to be on the safe side as if you have a lot of events closed and one open it may get too hot in one room or another. It takes some back-and-forth and different trial and error periods. After fiddling with it for quite some time, you should see a little bit of a difference or a lot, depending on the difference in temperature and the type of vents that are installed in your house.Theyâre easy to pair to the Google home app, which is also set up to my Alexa app, but it only lets me control the main thermostat through Alexa not the individual sensors.Overall worked well for us so we can regulator house, but itâs very expensive, especially if you have several

Works as it should

Like most Google products it is attractive, well built and has bafflingly stupid software design. The main issue with these is their time of day scheduling: You can set these sensors as targets for the Nest during periods of the day (evening, target the main floor, night time target the bedroom etc)Problem is, these are SET periods of time, they cannot be configured. (night time starts at 9PM. end of story)Bafflingly stupid design, easy to fix. years of customers asking for this change.Google is a bad company, they make bad software and abandon their products regularly. For now these sensors “work fine” so I’ll keep them
