Quality Ebike
The ebike is easy to assemble, I am on my test drive within minutes after I received it. The built quality is good. The battery lasts and give you a good range before you have to paddle your way back. I especially like the 3′ fat tires which give me a very comfy and smooth ride where ever I go. The electric bike is portable, it can be folded easily and put in the trunk of your car so you can bring it with you for an easy commute. The brakes and the suspension works really when you ride on a bumpy road. It is easy to tweak the peddle assist and gear shift mechanism to get a good ride. The built quality is good and I am happy with the purchase.

I love this electric bike
Never having had an electric bike before, I found this one a good choice for me, and easily fell in love with it’s sturdy design, good looks, and functionally. Takes a bit to charge up it’s hefty battery pack, but it has a long battery life between charges. Also came mostly assembled, so was easy to get up and running, without much effort. Love the big wide hefty tires, and the front shocks. Also the pneumatic fluid mechanical disk breaks work so smooth and quietly. It has a great display, the is adequately visible when you get it to the right angle. Both handle bar and seat height are easily adjustable, which is great. And I find the seat, for it’s size, comfortable for local rides. If I was doing longer commutes, I might invest in a bit wider seat. Whether you are doing fully manual, peddle assist, or fully electric – bike functions smoothly, with easy changeability between modes. On fully electric, it has plenty of get up and go. The back bike rack is very sturdy, and I have added a soft carrier to mine. Also bought and addition pull behind dog carrier for mine, so my dog can enjoy my ride too. Foot pedals are nice, and like how they fold up and bike not in use. Also like the easy foldable design, which is not too difficult to achieve. It has secure latches, so it can not come unlocked while in use. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and I find it a great value at the price I got it for on Amazon. I would recommend to friends.

Awesome Bike!!
Looking for an upgrade to my previous e-bike, and this one does not disappoint! It comes mostly assembled and finishing the assembly took about 30 minutes. The ride is very smooth thanks to a comfortable seat and the shock absorbers on the front tire. Itâs easy to see that the bike is constructed well.The battery life is great, havenât needed to charge it very often. Itâs easy to turn on, the assisted pedaling is a great way to get more life out of the battery. It also accelerates really quickly, much faster than the bikes I previously owned. Very pleased with the overall performance of the bike.Itâs priced a bit higher than some of the other e-bikes on the market, but the performance and quality justifies the price. Very happy with the purchase.

Lightweight, easy, and super fun to ride!
I wanted something cute but functional for getting around campus and running errands, and this e-bike is exactly that. Itâs lightweight enough that I can fold it and carry it into my apartment without struggling, but still feels sturdy when Iâm riding.The pedal-assist feature is amazingâit gives me just the right push so Iâm not exhausted by the time I get to class. The battery lasts longer than I expected too; I only need to charge it once or twice a week with moderate use.I feel really safe riding it thanks to the bright headlight, strong brakes, and wide tires that grip even when itâs a little rainy. Bonus points for the smooth front suspensionâit seriously makes cracks in the sidewalk feel like nothing. If you want something easy to ride and reliable, this is a great choice.

Nice bike for the money
Purchased two of these about a year ago. Generally very satisfied. Fold up nice and small for storage in the outside compartment of my motorhome. The ride feels stable, and given the fat tires the bike rolls along pretty efficiently when peddling w/o e-power. Brakes are sufficient. The battery seems robust and had at least 1/2 left following a 20+ mile ride through rolling hills. There are however two shortcomings worth noting; 1) The PAS is simply a speed control servo and controls power so the bike travels at a fixed speed, rather than delivering a fixed torque with speed then determined by how hard you pedal. I have another ‘center drive’ e-bike where PAS is a torque multiplier, and while the bike is delivering power, speed is based on how hard you pedal — but it is a much more expensive bike. And 2) The throttle is way too sensitive and it is difficult to hold a constant speed with throttle only. Nevertheless very satisfied and would buy them again.Another small problem is that they lay down on the derailleur in the RV compartment and there is no protection for the derailleur. To solve the problem I replaced the right side rear wheel nut with a 12×1.25mm automotive lug nut as shown in the photo. The lug nut is fairly long and has a smooth surface on the end so it slides nicely into the compartment and protects the derailleur while the bike is laying on its side.

This is not the first ebike I’ve owned and there are differences. My first one was not a walk-through style and sadly realized I had to sell it. It was a good quality bike; however, it was very expensive $$$.The R2 folding Gotrax is an amazing deal for a excellent ebike! I was sceptical despite all the ratings and now I am a believer. It has style and I received many compliments. The folding feature is so convenient. I saved thousands of dollars buying this bike and saved even more from the folding feature that doesn’t require installing a receiver and heavy duty hitch to transport my ebike. Ebikes are usually heavier and I’ve read where some people had a hard time lifting their bike. I have a tip: lift the back end into your SUV first so it is half the weight. Then fold the handle bar, then unclasp, lift the other half and fold into the back. This may not work for a trunk of a car. I am unable to lift anything heavy and I find this really helps me. The R2 fits in the back of my 2018 Equinox with the seat up! I could fit two more with the seats down and will be buying a second one for my husband. At 6’2″ he made some adjustments to my ebike, test drove it and agrees the quality exceeds other ebikes out there. I agree. The quality of the R2 even exceeds my first ebike. The R2 is built to be durable. The clasps that hold it when unfolded are strong and have safety locks to ensure they don’t come apart. It’s completely adjustable for your height. I am 5’9″ and it’s a perfect height for me. The seat is not the cheap ones that usually come with more expensive bikes. Gotrax has incorporated a comfortable and shock absorbing seat. The fenders are not plastic! They are metal. Like the rest of this ebike they are durable and attached to the ebike with heavy duty mounts. The rack is heavy duty. Gotrax, I appreciate these type of upgrades without increasing the price! I like the display in the middle. It has a long battery life between charges and more power than I need. You can charge it on or off the bike. I have a steep hill to climb every morning and the R2 has no issue climbing. The R2 came almost all assembled and just needed to attach the pedals, which was easy.Gotrax is awesome!They provide video tutorials on how to calibrate the breaks. I did it! The manual is full of info and a schedule for maintenance to care for my ebike. It was easy to learn how to unfold and fold up my ebike.So Gotrax you build a great quality R2 ebike!If I were to change anything it would be where the key is located. Not sure if the key can be moved. Perhaps it was placed underneath just in case you forget your key? Or maybe that location eliminates impacting it. The breaks work very well; however, they do let everyone and bears know I am applying them. Very heavy.I have a very difficult time folding and unfolding it.Key snapped in half.Charger gets VERY hot when charging and GoTrax said it’s normal.Customer service is awful-they do not reply to emails.Fun bike but too many problems.

Nice looking bike easy to put together , butâ¦.. itâs dead , yes battery charged up overnight !Noticed the key for battery on off was very very tight appears some misalignment with hole . Almost to the point of key could break. I did email cust support earlier in day Friday ⦠no response this thing is going back!
