Impressive
Impressive speaker lamp. It’s bigger than expected. The sound quality is definitely an improvement from other Govee products. You can use it for listening to music, but the sound quality is better for sound effects, which it does have like around 86 built-in sound effects for waking, sleeping, or relaxing.I love it when Govee adds extra features on products such as, it has the main light and bottom light. I use the bottom as a night light which is shown on one of my photos of the product.It has a lot of diy features for making your lighting effects. Love the music mode. It responds to sounds and music really accurately. Because this product can be paired with another Govee speaker lamp of the same kind to make combined stereo sound, I just had to buy another one. Definitely recommend this product.

Highly recommended….what a great partnership with JBL…love this!
These are my first impressions after using it for the first time. I absolutely love it. I’ve been using Govee since the get go….it’s wild to see how many innovating products they offer today but more important the quality. The partnership with JBL is what intrigued me initially but over the years, I’ve become obsessed with lighting my bedroom for both gaming and relaxation. This machine acts as a sound machine and has some really awesome color schemes to select from. I would highly recommend this!

A very good table lamp w/ a speaker
Good Product! I like how it can change any color you set it too and it goes along to whatever song you play. Also the Bluetooth speaker is amazing too itâs loud but not the loudest Iâve heard but itâs still has a nice clear sound so you can get the best sound out of it even though itâs not as loud. Another thing to note is they have some cool effects too which is nice like you have a watermelon and another features that are cool for the lamp. So if you looking to invest in one I think itâs a good get for a fair price.

First off I love the light! It’s big it’s beautiful, well made, and the color modes look amazing!The speaker sounds great too and has many built in white noise modes that interact with the color modes – love it!It paired easily enough to my phone for music playback (pandora etc) and I thought the sound was good – maybe a bit bass heavy but overall I was impressed.I just really wish it had alexa built-in. I tried to pair it to an echo show but it just simply wouldn’t stay connected.Hopefully the next iteration of this lamp has it built-in

Absolutely LOVE
From the second I got it going, I was amazed. This thing can do sooo much, and is sooo beautiful. Itâs huge! Way bigger and more substantial than imagined and Iâm happily surprised. I love Govee. The app is amazing. The lamp is super special. Iâm actually going to take it to my Spin Class. :). I teach, and I have a feeling this thing is going to add so much fun to our ride, I canât wait to bring it in! Highly recommend if you love cool lights! Iâm obsessed with my Govee collection

Not the Vibe you’d expect
Slightly disappointed, Govee.You’re a generation behind with no Cast/Google Cast support. The only thing you can control with the Google home app is the light itself. Everything else is controlled by the Govee app and it’s a simply Bluetooth speaker only… With some fancy light settings. Had I known that I wouldn’t have spent the money. And speaking of settings! Some of these settings are beyond me (not a boomer). Some of the automations don’t make sense and they’re not as clear or precise on how they work or what they do. It almost has too many features for settings that are settings.The music mode at least from my experience, trying it is hard to find in the settings and then almost gave me a seizureb or was so intense. The preset colors are fun, and the speaker looks good but it feels cheap in hand.Also, for those of you wondering, it does not come with a charging base dock or station.This is especially a bummer because I was counting on this speaker to be the front end volume of my surround sound room system and they don’t connect to Google home speakers to create a group. Will it hook up to your Bluetooth TV? Yes, because it’s Bluetooth. I can’t imagine why you’d want to use this for your TV though.Otherwise it’s nice that it’s rechargeable and portable. You can take it to the kitchen to do dishes or into the bathroom to have a light and music shower party, take It outside to annoy the neighbors with your barbecue music.It does get very very loud very quickly, but the base kind of fizzles out and gets hollow in general.I wish I could say this was a 5 out of 5 like I was hoping but it’s just not all there.

not worth 180 by far
i give it a 1 star fore the frustration it creates. works good after the first connect but when connecting other times it doesnt want to sync with other govee products. it only works when you control it by its self. might be because it wasnt plugged, but thats even dumberthe light is not as bright as you would think it would be … and it not being usb C is a huge L160-180$ is an insane price for the product …..80$-120$

This lamp instantly leveled up my setup. The RGB lighting reacts to game sound almost instantly, so every explosion or soundtrack feels more immersive. Colors are bright, smooth, and fully customizable, plus it doubles as a solid desk lamp when I just need white light.The built-in JBL speaker is surprisingly clear for its size, and I love that it runs on battery tooâno cables needed for late-night sessions. Pairing two together for stereo sound and synced lights is next-level. For gamers who want both vibe and function, this lamp nails it.

Itâs a cool lamp. The speaker is very clear but not overly loud. Itâs what you would expect a high quality mid sized Bluetooth speaker to sound like. I live in a small space and it is more than enough. It has more scene effects than the last lamp, and itâs almost twice the size. I gave it 4 stars as I donât like the touch buttons – you have to touch them just the right way and itâs annoying. Tactile buttons would have been a lot better. That being said I rarely use the buttons anyways so meh.
