I recently purchased two Hiboy P6 e-bikes—one for myself and one for my wife—and after a week of use, I’m very impressed with the quality and performance so far.The bikes arrived in compact, well-packaged boxes with ample padding, cable ties, and protective materials. Assembly was straightforward, with about 80% of the bike pre-assembled. All necessary parts, tools, and a clear user manual were included. Final assembly took only 15 to 20 minutes per bike.The build quality is solid, with a sturdy frame and decent components. The matte black finish gives it a sleek, modern look. As a taller rider (6’4″), I appreciate the larger frame size—it fits me perfectly. However, it might be slightly oversized for smaller riders like my wife, so keep that in mind when ordering.Performance-wise, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. At 245 lbs., I had no trouble with acceleration or climbing moderate hills. The bike has plenty of power and feels stable both on- and off-road. Battery life has also been impressive so far—ideal for casual riding and weekend adventures.A couple of small drawbacks is that the bikes don’t come with fenders, or a rear light, which I think would be a useful addition to the base model. That said, Hiboy support has been excellent—very responsive and quick to resolve any questions or concerns I’ve had.Overall, the Hiboy P6 is an excellent entry-level choice for casual riders looking for a solid, well-built e-bike that performs well on a variety of surfaces. Highly recommended.

Hello everyone,I’ve had my Hiboy p6 for all of 3 months now. In that time i’ve put over 1000km on it. Let’s go over the upsides and downsides.Upsides:Plenty Powerful:- The P6 is actually incredibly impressive when it’s comes to torque and speed. It can reach 45km per hour easily before it reaches its limiter.Tires:-The Fat tires make for an incredibly comfortable rideFrame:-It can be rare to find affordable e bike with batteries built into the frame. This is quite nice.DownsidesBrakes:-When buying understand you will be buying new brakes right away. The stock brakes are garbage and borderline unsafe. Both of mine broke in under 20km. During that time they were loud and had little stopping power. If you’d like to research the brakes they are Jak Disk brakes, they are incredibly cheap. I would recommend buying Avid 5 disc brakes, they work 1000 times better. Or any other mechanical disc brakes will work too.The front metal disc also broke at 900km.Battery:-Very well integrated though the range they advertise is not accurate. With electric only you’re looking at maybe 20km of range maybe a little more if lucky. Honestly not terrible but I’ve had it run out a few times on extra long rides. You can buy extra batteries for $500 on their site.Paint:-Comes off easily with frictionSo to summarize would I recommend this bike even with the downsides. Absolutely! It’s a ton of fun but needs some refinement and a better fit and finish. If your okay replacing the brakes and some other small things this bike will still be much cheaper than anything that compares.Also had to speak to Hiboy support to replace a broken pedal and they were kind enough to send replacement parts for the crank too just in case it had something to do with it making noises. This is NOT a paid review. I bought the bike with my money and received no gifts for this review:This bike is really well built, especially for the money. It can reach pretty high speeds, barely legal actually, upwards of 40kmh and that my rather heavy weight of over 100kgs and loaded with a bag. The Wh of the battery seems rather small compared to the competition but in practice you can ride for HOURS at high speed and dozens of kilometres before depleting the battery, which never happened to me because im exhausted of biking way sooner.Cons: please dont expect a Bafang motor like YouTubers said. It comes with a different brand of motor and it’s still powerful enough and seems well built. I raked hundreds of kilometres now and the motor still works fine and never overheated or caused any issues.Now, it’s possible something might not be perfect and reaching out to customer service was a good experience: they speak good english, answer within a day or so, and were keen on providing any solution to satisfy you, even OUTSIDE the return period!! All sellers on Amazon arent like that, Hiboy truly cared about their reputation.So i will treasure this bike and started shopping for accessories to make it better. If you are unsure what bike to take: this is the one if your budget is tight. Looking forward to buy my next Hiboy bike in a few years! Hopefully improved!
