Awesome performance for the price.
For 50 bucks it was money well spent. Great playback on this device. Im hearing details in my favorite music I have not heard before. I’ve always used my phone’s mp3 player and didn’t know what i was missing until I played my music on this device.I would pay 60 easy for this. Maybe more.Simple little device. No apps for internet. No internet period. Exactly what an hi resolution audio player should be.I highly recommend for the price. Love this player. Connects easy with my Bluetooth ear buds.

This is a fantastic little player and everything Iâve been looking for in a music player for a while. For a start this is an offline player. No WiFi or mobile connectivity. Just you and your music without interruptions or distractions. It comes with a 64Gb MicroSD card which is big enough to put a lot of music on. I transferred a bunch of albums in both high nitrate MP3 format and also Lossless FLAC and it played them all without a hitch. It is capable of displaying album artwork and indeed did for some of my music but not for all. Unsure why yet. Iâm not really bothered though as I have the screen set to turn off after 30 seconds to save power so Iâm not constantly looking at it anyway. It can display the lyrics to songs if you put lrc files in the same folder as the music and indeed it came with a couple of sample tracks with lyrics to demonstrate how it works which was nice although again, this is a feature I wonât use.The touchscreen works quite well. Itâs no iPhone screen but it gets the job done and itâs bright and clear enough to make reading it a breeze. Scrolling is a little clunky – it doesnât really happen in real time which takes a little getting used to.Thereâs physical buttons for power and next/previous track and a nice click rotary volume dial but everything else is access via touch. It sounds fantastic on just the default settings although there are several equaliser presets that you can select depending on personal taste but I preferred the default sound. Thereâs plenty of volume – enough to go higher than I would ever want to to listening with my trusty wired Sony MDR-1A headphones. (No headphones are supplied). You can pair with Bluetooth headphones or speaker should you wish to and thereâs even a line-out port and cable included. It runs off an internal rechargeable battery and is charged via a USB-C socket and a cable is supplied for this purpose. It came fully charged which allowed me to start playing with it straight out of the box. Itâs solidly built and reassuringly heavy and is supplied with a nice leather case. Whole thing feels premium despite being significantly cheaper than the big name devices. I highly recommend it anyway – itâs a cracking little music player.

This portable MP3 player takes me back to childhood – a simple device aiming to do one thing, and do it well.It mostly achieves that – the build quality is really good, the sound quality is superb through the headphone and line out ports and it even connects to bluetooth headphones if you’d prefer. But it is quite weighty, and features a large screen with a very vintage-style OS that gives a bit of nostalgia but quite limited functionality. It’s a shame that it doesn’t seem capable of playing video files despite the screen – if anything was going to make the weight worthwhile it’d be having that feature to make the most of the hardware.Overall this is great for listening to music & audiobooks offline whilst out and about, but it’s probably going to sit in your bag rather than your trouser pocket.

Great sound and long battery lifeThe audio quality is excellent, clear and detailed even wired headphones or bt. I like that it supports many formats so I can play all my old files without problems. The battery lasts for days, which makes it perfect for travel or long commutes. Bluetooth connection is stable and works well with my wireless speaker. Plenty of storage with the card included, and the leather case is a nice touch.

The first thing you notice about this device is just how big and heavy it is! It’s way bigger than I expected, and for some this could be a deal breaker, as it would take up quite a bit of space in your pocket. However that aside, it’s a fantastic player. I was really blown away by the sound quality, even using a pair of cheap headphones it was noticeably far better than the Sandisk player I’d be using previously. It has all the normal features you’d expect, but one thing I noticed when playing around with the equaliser is that some of the options actually distort the sound really badly, so I put it back to its default setting and left it there! The majority of the functions are accessed via touch screen, but it does have a few old school buttons which is a nice retro touch. Storage is via an SD card which can also be swapped pout for a bigger one if you need more capacity. All in all, I am really impressed with this player – I think it’ll probably be used mostly at home, given its size and weight, but for me the superb sound quality far overweighs the weight penalty!

A very well made unit. Certainly a quality item.Took a while getting used to the user interface but after a while I got used to it.I had all my music and a micro sd card now rather than Bluetoothing my music to my speaker from my phone and killing the battery I can now use this and keep my phone healthy.A good size that’s neat enough to fit in pocket easily.Good sound quality although I would like the max volume higher but as I’m partially deaf that’s down to me.Easy to connect, had no issues at all.Great value for a high quality unit.
