Excellent dual monitor, great value
Excellent dual monitor for the money! It has two USB C ports, one of which is for power supply (included in package), the other for connecting to your computer. Doesnât matter which port is for which, but you must supply power. So this means a single C port is used for video connection which further means the two panels are treated as a single monitor by default. This last point has ramifications for Mac users (Iâm not sure about the other operating systems).My attached photo shows this InnoView dual monitor (each panel 18.5 inches) connected to my MacBook Pro M3 Max in docking mode, together with a LuckyFive 24-inch WQHD monitor. Out of box when connected to a compatible Mac, the InnoView is in âsplicing mode,â which means the two panels are used as a single vertical monitor. You can also, of course, use InnoView in mirror mode, where both panels duplicate the main screen, great for one-on-one sales pitches.To use the two panels as separate monitors, on the Mac youâll need to install a driver thatâs supplied from the monitor itself. The instructions are clearly given, although the steps are a little involved if youâre not used to installing drivers on a Mac. Not too bad if you want this âextend modeâ (meaning two separate monitors).I didnât do this. Instead I simply stay in splicing mode but rely on Macâs windows arranging functions to place windows on the InnoView as I like. Macs remember windowsâ positions as long as you donât update the system and restart, so itâs pretty straightforward.The InnoView panels are each 1080p in resolution, with refresh rates of 60, 75 and 100. The frame is well made and the stand can stop at different angles and support the monitor securely. Image quality is very good for a 1080p monitor. And in splicing mode, the total resolution is 1920×2160.If you trade or code for a living and your desktop space is limited, I highly recommend this InnoView dual monitor. Just make sure your computer supports external displays, especially if you want to use InnoView in extend mode where the two panels display contents independently.

Great for travel
I purchased this for use during an extended working vacation. My regular office has 2 32â monitors, in addition to my 16â MBP, and I wanted to recreate that on the go without having to find the space to set up 2 monitors on my desk. And I donât like the idea of attaching extra weight to my $2k MBP, as so many travel monitors are designed to attach to your laptop screen.The smaller variety of this unit (I forget the size) is just a bit larger than my MBP and both fit nicely within the travel bag I already had. I measured for the larger version, and it would not have fit. But even though this is the smaller version each screen is still larger than my MBP. And I think the larger version would be a bit big to travel with anyway.Screen resolution is as promoted and works well enough for me. Build quality seems solid.Some notes on working with my 2019 MBP:I downloaded the driver required to use the monitor as 2 separate monitors. The process was not nearly as automatic as stated, and it works better as one single monitor. I deleted the driver and use it as one. Just position your windows as if they were two.And there was some odd behavior between it and the MBP with the MBP running on battery. I couldnât get the monitor to stay connected. No problem. You have to plug the monitor into power. Go ahead and plug in the MBP as well, and this is not an issue at all.

Impressive 2K Portable Dual Display
I needed a large dual monitor setup with a higher resolution; most others only offer 1080 and this is 1440 (2K).It feels secure when folded, albeit heavy. It is large, however, when folded, very manageable. When mobile, I need to work and this dual monitor offers portability, decent size and hinge firmness. This isn’t for working at a coffee shop! It is perfect for a hotel stay or similar. So far I am impressed, and glad I purchased it.

Very Impressed!
As a video editor, the InnoView 18.5″ Laptop Screen Extender has been a game-changer for my workflow! The large, crisp display gives me the extra screen real estate I need for timeline editing, color grading, and previewing footage. I often work remotely in cramped spaces, and the 18.5 is a perfect size- It will fit on a small table with my laptop, and it still fits in a standard backpack. I almost got the 23â, but as cool as I sure it is, it would have been too big more my needs. I was slightly hesitant on the 1080p resolution, wanting 4k- however, it delivers sharp visuals, and the color right out of the box is great, especially for a monitor under $500. The easy plug-and-play setup means I can take it anywhere without hassle. I would recommend getting a 100watt power brick for it, IF you want it to power your laptop too. Itâs lightweight but sturdy, the hinges on the screen are very stiff (in a good way) so you donât have to worry about it flopping over. Iâm working on a n M2 MacBook Pro, and you do have to do a very simple driver install if you want to use the A/B screen option, but its easy to do. If youâre a content creator or editor looking for an affordable and efficient way to boost productivity on the go, this is a fantastic investment! Absolutely worth every penny!

Since the pandemic there has been a major shift of office work to partly working from home. This also meant that sometimes I have to take my work somewhere other than my home office. Having this monitor drastically improved my work efficiency. The monitor is very bright and the resolution is very sharp. As advertised it has the ability to splice the screen if you are a programmer to view long pieces of code.The build quality is really solid where one might have concerns. It has a strong built-in kickstand to prop up both monitors. The hinges are not flimsy at all and there is no wobble for the second monitor on top! Since this is an 18.5â monitor it is actually large enough to practically mount it as part of your desktop suite. As you can see from my pictures that the design has included standard VESA holes that you can make this mountable.Overall a very solid product and would highly recommend

I had a double screen extender that attached to my laptop and it was a little cumbersome. I saw this one and it was much larger with two a double screen and isn’t attached to the back of the laptop so I purchased. The color is amazing and it sure helps me in doing my work. It’s tops in my book. I highly recommend it.

I sold my single portable monitor for these dual monitors, and I really love them. The product description doesnât mention Ubuntu compatibility. However, after a bit of research, I found the DisplayLink for Ubuntu driver works with these monitors. Great Product!

This set looks and feels solid. I purchased a smaller single-screen monitor three years ago, and it still works. When searching for additional monitors, this one came up. I thought it should be a good buy. I was first excited after taking it out of the box. Then problems – temperamental, to say the least. It interfered with other devices connected to the same computer. It is like a jealous monitor that wants the computer all to itself. The manufacturer did not mention that the monitor did not work well with docking stations in the listing. For what it is costing, shouldn’t the manufacturer develop adequate software to go with the hardware? I would not recommend this dual monitor at all.
