easy to use
so far the best smart home improvement i have ever owned, i love the app and the control of the outlet is quick. i managed to connect to a smart switch so that i can control this not only form my phone, but also a hided switch. i do recommend this to everyone who want to control their stuffs remotely with their cellphone.but it is a little expensive.

Great product, one complaint
Easy to install and connect to wifi. Only reason they lose 1 star is only one outlet, the top one, is wifi enabled. The 2nd lower outlet is a standard “always on” outlet. Should have that as an option, not the standard.

Automation for my rain barrel
I have a lot of Leviton devices that can be remotely controlled by the “MyLeviton” app. I’m using this outlet in a weather-proof box that controls a 110v motorized ball valve for my rain barrel. I used to manually open the rain barrel spigot, set a timer on my watch or phone, then manually close the spigot 30 mins later. Once in while I would forget to turn it off and drain the barrel or overwater the plants. The MyLeviton app allows you to set automatic actions, such as turn device off after a set amount of time. This feature is great and I never worry about draining the barrel again. This outlet also has a button that allows you to turn the outlet on/off locally, and the outlet will automatically turn off later if you configured it to. The outlet is located about 100 ft away from the house and responds to all WiFi remote commands. It’s a little more expensive than others, but well worth the convenience.

Good product
Iâve always found Leviton makes great electrical outlets and switches and this is no exception. A couple of things I wasnât aware of was that you have to use the Leviton app to connect to Alexa (canât just create a routine in Alexa) and the only one of the outlets works with the WiFi app.

Leviton Smart Outlet Packaging
The Leviton Decora Smart Outlet is good, however, the packaging for delivery was not good. I donât know who the seller was, either Amazon or Leviton, but all they did was slap a label on the box, not even an envelope. Peeling off the label was no picnic. Come on guys, could you be any lazier?
