I’ve been using TurboTax long before Intuit bought them. It has always been my reliable way of doing income tax. With TurboTax, you don’t have to worry about preparing your taxes. You just have to worry about saving your receipts. The more you use TurboTax the more you will learn about tax deductions and credit.

Downloaded, installed, and worked perfectly for me
I just purchased the download version — Deluxe for federal and state — yesterday and already used it to prepare one return. Downloading, installation, and usage went flawlessly. Not a single issue or even glitch. Here are some important tips for anyone who is considering buying:–You can get your download from your Amazon account under the digital content area — the same place where you would download things like ebooks.–In the area for your digital download it will also show your license number. This is what you enter into the program during installation.–Make sure you allow the installed program to automatically update. Between first installation yesterday and today, the program did two separate updates.–I had a question about how to manually enter some information about the preparer on the 1040. I was able to call TurboTax and get assistance pretty quickly. The woman who helped me was knowledgeable.It’s possible that by the time I purchased the downloadable program on 4-12-23 that all kinks and glitches had been worked out by Intuit. It’s possible that earlier purchasers and users of the program may have had issues with the program installing and working properly. But all I know is that I had zero issues with the program installing and working as of yesterday. I am very satisfied with how it’s gone so far.I installed the program on a laptop running the latest version of Windows 11. If you have another operating system or version of Windows, your mileage may vary.

Down loaded great once you see how to download it.
I have a fairly easy tax filing. I dont have any complicated of things to report. You have to know how to get the info you need like your Bank tax info and other. This was only the second time that I downloaded Turbo Tax and the first time from Amazon,which was cheaper than downloading from Turbo Tax directly. I had a slight problem trying to figure out how to download the program. I dont remember what it was, but I figured it out after going back and forth to the order confirmation. I have used Turbo tax for maybe 15yrs I am not sure? At least 13 yrs. for sure. It’s always been easy to use because it explains things that you dont understand, which are very few. You can call and speak to a Turbo Tax rep if your really stuck. I have had to call them a couple times and they are very helpful and patient with you. I can tell you that it was a mistake that I made ea time that caused my problem. This year I was able to file my taxes using Turbo two days after the IRS was accepting returns. Turbo notified me that the IRS and my State had accepted my return the next day . My refund was processed and directly deposited to my bank acct. ten days later. I already spent 25% of it.

2 Years in a Row not able to get download on to my Laptop
2 hours on the phone with Amazon.com to get the file to download. Download would not load on my laptop. They connnected me to TurboTax.com and I waited 2.5 hours on hold with no response. I called TurboTax.com support back and spent 7.5 hours s on the phone with TurboTax customer support asking for a supervisor (3) different times & never once getting transferred to one at all. I have used TurboTax every year since 1993. However, two years in a row I am unable to get the Amazon.com TurboTax 2022 Deluxe to load on my laptop (I7 tenth generation Intel processor, with 16 MG RAM, 1 Terrabyte HD with 500 Gigabytes available, RTX 260 graphics processor). Never have any problem downloading and installing any other software, only TurboTax 2021 & now 2022. Amazon.com will not simply send a replace program disc/CD, will not credit the purchase today so I can simply order CD version & get deliverered from the same sale. Amazon requires we cancel the order, & I had to reorder the CD version delivered for $7.50 more and wait for Amazon.com to post my credit. I am a huge fan of both Amazon.com & TurboTax for decades. However, this partnership in my case and others has not worked well at all! TurboTax you can not offer a version that simply downloads onto a hard drive under a user designated subdirectory and get me to a supvisor support level for a (20) year loyal customer (TurboTax & Quicken since 1987)? ComeOn, Man! Amazon you really could not credit my purchase and send me a CD without tying up my money for (3) business days and charging me $7.50 more for the same product after spending 2 hours with you support person on the phone and now having to wait for your delivery? ComeOn, ComeOnMan! Not good boys & girls as you are making me think HARD about other options! This is not good at all for our relationships. No means that I need to consider other options. Lack of satisfying my inability to do my taxes means I am not being served. Not being servered becomes a personal issue for me as I feel unwanted. Feeling unwanted makes me move on as I never stay were I am unwanted! Are you sure you want this result to my ordering from both of you? I know I don’t at all!
