Is the Smart flood light can work without 2.4GHz WiFi?
No. It can only work with 2.4GHz WiFi (5G WiFi is not compatible). If there is any issue with APP Pairs and setup, please check if the WiFi is 2.4GHz and the signal is stable and strong enough.
Is the motion sensor outdoor lights support hard wire, solar, or battery-powered?

How to pair the security lights with the “Onforu Home” APP?
1）Ensure the APP is “Onforu Home” 2）Power on the light，wait for 3 sec, then power off and wait for 5 sec. Repeat it 3 times until light flickering, which means the light is ready for pairing. 3) After discovering the device, tap “Add” to pair lights.
Why the Bluetooth and WiFi should be turned on when paring floodlights?
Bluetooth is for connecting the light to your WiFi signal. To succeed in pairing, please confirm the Bluetooth and WiFi on your phone are both turned on when pairing.
Why the led motion sensor floodlights are flickering when first powered up?
Please stay beside the light, open the “Onforu Home” APP to discover the device, if find the light and succeed in paring it. It means the light is in the condition of “waiting paring”.

Illuminates a large area…very happy with it
Super bright and is working well out on our lower driveway. We have a very secluded area that I’m now a lot more confident the coyotes and any thieves are going to have second thoughts about checking out the premises! Quite sensitive too.

Very Nice LED Flood and Great Customer Support
Wow, this LED is powerful! It casts light in three directions to provide a very wide lighted area. The light color can even be changed. The app works very well (so long as you are within your wifi area). I wish the app worked with the newer 5G wifi, but the 2.4 GHz is fine. The flood also works with Google Home so all we have to do is ask Google to “Turn on/off flood” and they pop on/off. Nice! But the best part of this product is that Onforu Customer Support immediately sent an identical replacement after explaining to them that the motion detection didn’t work despite me trying what I could with resetting and with the app. They didn’t debate with me or treat me like a stupid customer – they sent a replacement of which the motion detection DOES work. Wonderful Customer Support! I will not hesitate to buy an Onforu product again! Look, products fail. But Customer Support should not fail. These folks stood behind their product and didn’t fail me.

Light is good, phone app is lacking
Found this when looking for a replacement for a broken Defiant garage light. Wanted either Bluetooth or WiFi. Connection was easy on my network. Configuration isn’t straightforward for night time and PIR only for the east coast.The phone app requires you to create an account and agree to their policy and terms of agreement. Not a real fan of that as I already get a lot of spam messages and phone calls.If the phone app is corrected to be easier to program, it would be upgraded to a 5star.

Works Intermittently – No replies from Customer Service – Would not recommend.
When it works, it works well. HOWEVER, the light will not go on at times. I open the app, which I previously set to “motion detection” and it was set to “manual” all by itself. I reset to “motion detection” and the light works. I close the app, reopen the app and everything is fine. A few days go by and again it resets to “manual” mode. Not a very helpful security light. I contacted the seller, and no reply – ZERO for customer service.

Very bright but not very smart
I got this light because it was supposed to be extremely bright and have app support to automate when it turns on and off, the brightness, Alexa support, etc. This light IS very bright but itâs not so smart⦠here is why.The native app is extremely frustrating. You can adjust the brightness, set it to turn automatically on/off at dusk/dawn at your preferred brightness. However I canât seem to get it to actually remember anything. For example it automatically turns on by itself at night and turns off during the day. Great. But it wonât dim after a few minutes to whatever brightness you set it to at night, it simply stays at 100% brightness all night no matter what. The Alexa support is also finicky because it interferes with the native apps controls for color and brightness. Motion detector doesnât seem to do its job. Iâm sure there is a way to get this thing to work properly but itâs not without a headache.

Easy installation and setup.
Very installation. App setup perfectly and effortlessly. I do not have streetlights where I live. These are perfect for my use. They are so bright I could land the Space Shuttle here.
