Troubleshooting
If the head unit powers on for few seconds and then shuts down automatically:
Some cars have ACC wires controlled by Canbus or feature a “delayed shut off” for radios and other components. In such cases, the car may not output stable 12V power to our radio. You will need to purchase the appropriate harness adapter that provides accessory power or supports “Retained Accessory Power” for your specific car model. Alternatively, if you prefer not to buy the adapter, you can find ACC power elsewhere in your vehicle and connect our red wire there.
The necessary conditions for powering on the unit are:
1. The Red wire of our harness receives switched 12V power (Car key must be turned on).
2. The Yellow wire of our harness receives 12V power.
3. The Black ground wire of our harness is properly connected.
If you have an electric pen, you can test these three wires.
The car stereo has a memory function. If the ACC line (Red wire) and the B+ line (Yellow wire) are reversed during installation, the product will lose its memory function after the power is turned off.The car stereo cannot be used in vehicles with a voltage exceeding 14 V, such as large trucks. If you intend to use devices with a voltage higher than 14 V, you must use step-down conversion wires to avoid damaging the car stereo.

Incredible performance and features for the price
So far the MP-928W unit has been great, especially for the price. Screen is amazing, sound clarity is better than expected (bass doesnât have as much punch as previous Pioneer unit), super easy install. Contacted company through email for a boot logo (Toyota) and firmware update and received in a couple hours. Using ApplePlay and it connects fairly quick in a couple seconds. Screen is easy to see in the daytime and dims when lights are on, very crisp. Havenât hooked up backup camera yet, but tomorrow I will. Only negative so far is the button placement of volume at bottom, they are more difficult to hit, but could be a simple adjustment to the brackets holding in unit. For the price itâs tough for even the big names to compete. Only time will tell.

Excellent Car Stereo Upgrade â Great Display, Sound, and Support!
I recently installed the **PLZ 7″ Wireless Double Din Car Stereo (MP-928W)** in my **Ford Expedition EL XLT**, and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the performance and features of this unit!#### ð¦ **Installation Experience**The installation process was straightforward, but like with any aftermarket stereo, it required some effort to wire everything properly. I used **heat shrink tubing and soldering** to ensure a strong, long-lasting connection. The included wiring harness worked well, though I did have a couple of **unused wires** that the instructions didnât mention (notably the **Blue/White wire**). The **Violet/White wire** was for the backup camera, which I figured out later.For mounting, I used the **Metra Double Din Dash Kit**, but it didnât quite fit perfectly. I had to **remove the top plastic trim from the stereo and modify the dash kit** by cutting the four end pieces that were preventing the unit from sitting flush. This wasnât an issue with the stereo itselfâjust a compatibility quirk with my particular dash kit.I also added a **USB 3.0 port** by replacing an old, unused **cigarette lighter socket**, which allowed me to neatly connect the rear USB cable from the PLZ head unit.#### ðµ **Sound Quality â A Huge Upgrade!**My Expedition has a **premium factory sound system with a 160W amp**, and I used the correct wiring harness to retain my amp and **RAP (Retained Accessory Power) system**. The sound output is **phenomenal**! Deep, rich bass, crisp highs, and a well-balanced midrange. Itâs a significant improvement over the factory stereo, and **Bluetooth 5.3** provides seamless, high-quality streaming with zero lag.#### ð **Performance & Features**â **Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto** â Works flawlessly! Big screen, Great look, modern radio in your older car!
This has been the coolest & somewhat best radio purchase Iâve made in a long time. I have so many likes about the EQ because I run both the radio amp to 4 speakers & an amplifier for an additional 4 speakers (8 total), plus my 15â sub with amp. The balance is greater than my older radio & subwoofer could finally be set to 50 HZ with a separate bass control built into the radio!It works with my older reverse camera because I have been lazy to replace with New one yet. Itâs disappointing that you can only get YouTube to actually playback videos on the screen during Mirror mode, and that still has a slight audio lag. I might try a separate video player device to hook through AV so I can maybe get DVD video to play on both screens, but I was unsuccessful getting any streaming services to play on screen through Car Play or Mirror mode. So disappointing there, but understandable because itâs still illegal to offer video to a driver. Legal liability. So Iâm not to upset, haha, Iâll find a way.I was unhappy with the front camera operation as I purchased the only model that works with this type of setup, (not offered by seller) so you should get a USB powered one like ai will be trying or a separate dash cam setup. **It has frozen once & I had to shut off my vehicle for a few seconds so it could shut off & I could restart** then it was fine.The EQ alone is 60% of my approval and the rest would be the smooth touch screen capability & volume. Easy to learn & navigate. Also navigation with Waze on your phone is awesome to have up on screen with your music player as well. Always have your phone charging. On and on, itâs worth the cheap cost vs past radio costs & capabilities!

The good and bad
The bad so far:-the remote only works when super close to screen.- the screen was not working for like 2 minutes ( i think it doesnât like the florida heat ). Its happened twice on a week.- sometimes when you leave carplay to home screen the music stops.- screen does not have auto dim.- itâs laggy when changing a song and the system is also laggy when it is warm.- it gets quiet on calls almost like the volume turns down automatically.The good :- the camera is decent quality.- the design looks nice and sleek.- it has a decent amount of configurations.- the screen picture quality on carplay itâs pretty high- it was easy to pair with phone- the charging port itâs convenient- the mic works great

Super great performance, low price tag.
Seriously. I didn’t want to spend 800 bucks on a stereo. The reviews were right. I am blown away by how snappy the interface is. No lag at all. Sound is great. I returned a similar unit from boss, it cut out and the lag was stupid slow. I don’t usually take chances on electronic companies I don’t know, but this was a great purchase. The price is great for something that functions like high end. I will say that the resolution isn’t exactly crisp. But it’s not even noticeable for a car stereo. I’m super happy with this. Glad I got it. 5 stars!
