Totally worth it!
Aside from it fitting perfectly on the ps5. It does nothing else. The fan is really loud in and noisy. The speed isnât close to enough to help cool down anything. Your ps5 will get hot and stay hot no matter how long this is turned on. I do not recommend. Hopefully be able to return the item and try another one out.UPDATE.Was contacted by the seller for the issue and was resolved immediately. The customer service is great and the product was replaced with a new one and it works perfectly! Super quiet, great RGB colors. The 3 modes are great depending on your gameplay and time playing. %150 would recommend this item to anyone needing a cool way to style up and cool down your console.

Effective cooling with a minor quirk
I bought these PS5 cooling fans because my system was overheating during extended gaming sessions, and they definitely solved that problem. Since installing them, I havenât had any issues with heatâmy console runs noticeably cooler. The only downside is that sometimes when the fans first start up, they make a noise like theyâre catching on something. I have to manually stop the fans for a second, and then they work fine. Itâs a little annoying, but not a dealbreaker considering how well they do their main job. Overall, great performance with just a small hiccup.

Cool but gets loud
Started great, easy to install and helps cooling 2 months later the middle fan is loud. Had to flick it to quiet it down. Now about 4months it’s loud all the time.

Became intolerable and buzzing after a couple days. Don’t cool PS5 at all.
Became unbearably noisy after just a couple days. Customer service told me to add pads. So basically they wanted me to fix their poor design. The light also requires a physical push of the button which doesn’t prevent the ps5 from turning it back on even in rest mode.Performance wise, there was no change in temperature. I measured in multiple locations both before and after using it. Test were after playing a power hungry game for an hour and measuring the temps on the surface and on the ports in the back. No change with the fans.The problem is that these fans aren’t located at the hottest part of the playstation. That is at the bottom section (if vertical) near the power cable and ports.Even if the fans were quiet, they just don’t do what they claim to justify keeping them on.The best way to keep your PS5 cool is to just do regular cleaning by removing the panels. These fans are snake oil.

It works to get the hot air out. I only got this because my ps5 was overheating and I decided to replace the internal fan and add this extra fan.Since I added these two new components my ps5 is cooler and quieter than the 17 blade fan my ps5 came with.
