Great for Hardboiled Eggs
Although there are other ways to use this item for cooking eggs, I use it exclusively for making hardboiled eggs. It does a fantastic job. Preparation and clean-up are a breeze. It would be wonderful to have a version of this item that could do 12 eggs at a time vs. 6, but it’s quick and easy to do two batches of 6 eggs.I only experience cracked eggs or leaking egg white on rare occasions, usually due to a thin shell on an egg. I am usually using organic, free-range small farm eggs, so it’s possible the shells may be thinner sometimes than with commercially produced eggs.

Boiled Eggs the Easy Way
This compact appliance is genius. Hard boiled eggs are so easy to make. Will also make jammy eggs. We don’t even rinse the eggs in cold water afterwards. We put them right in the refrigerator and there’s no green ring on the yolk. Plus they peel easily. Doesn’t take much room to store and is quiet to operate and beeps when done.

I love the way this egg cooker looks (I got the green) and it is just as pictured. The first time I used it I accidentally cracked one of my eggs when piercing it with a hole so I put it in one of the trays. I was NOT going to throw it away considering how expensive eggs are today. But, this way I learned about the tray vs the egg holder. For hard boiled eggs this works great and took so little time. One note I will say about using the tray is that it cooks more than the eggs in the shell. Just something to keep in mind. I love this little thing and love how it doesnât look ugly in my kitchen. The little parts and the cooker itself are easy to clean. Not loud at all and the toggle switch is great. I didnât realize but it beeps when the eggs are done so be prepared for that because it startled me. The water cup is accurate. It takes no time at all to boil the water. Using its is very straightforward. If you want to spend little more for aesthetic purposes then yes buy this! If you donât care about looks then iâd consider other options. You can get a good egg cooker for a cheaper price. It all comes down to what youâre looking for

Amazing little machine. I never write reviews but I had to. I received this yesterday and tried it this morning. It was easy to set up (I have to practice my egg piercing technique) and cooked a perfect hard boiled egg. This is a must have if you are on a high protein diet.

I’m honestly surprised that this egg machine actually works like it purports to do. The eggs are perfectly cooked and easy to peel. It’s so easy that my 11-year-old is able to work it without supervision. It’s quiet while cooking and dings when it’s done! It also automatically stops cooking, so you can leave it and forget without burning the house down. This would be a great gift for Christmas, housewarming, adult birthday, graduation, etc.

This egg cooker is awesome. It has a metal needle to pierce the shell of the eggs. The needle being metal works perfectly as opposed to the cheaper cookers with a little plastic knob that can break off easily. My first time cooking I wanted soft boiled eggs, using extra large eggs. I followed the instructions on the measuring cup regarding water amount. The eggs turned out perfectly. I would highly recommend this particular unit to purchase.
