Renogy intends to be a driving force behind the push for sustainable living and energy independence.
What makes our products unique?
We aim to provide all the components necessary for users to build off-grid solar power systems at affordable prices.
【1% Accuracy Measurement】Shunt-type monitor design provides much more accurate real-time voltage and current draw measurement.
【Protect the batteries】With High and low capacity alarm functions, our battery monitor with shunt will alarm, and backlight and voltage value will flash simultaneously to protect the batteries from getting over-discharged.
【Fit for all battery】The batter tester is compatible with various battery types, including Lead Acid (AGM, GEL), Lithium Iron Phosphate, Lithium-ion, Nickel-metal hybrid. compatible with batteries operating at 12 volts, 24 volts, and 48 volts.
【Easy To read】Displays multiple electronic parameters, including Voltage, Current, Consumed Power, Battery Capacity, and battery degradation rate with a customized brightness high-definition Backlight Display.
【Easy to Install】Transparent shunt holder makes the battery tester easier to mount the shunt. And the 20ft Shielded cable allows you to monitor the battery status from a distance.
Customers say
Customers find the battery monitor works well, particularly with 600ah lithium battery banks, and appreciate that it’s simple to connect to solar systems. The display quality receives positive feedback, with customers noting its professional appearance, and they like the information it displays. The accuracy, build quality, readability, and value for money receive mixed reviews – while some find it accurate and heavy-duty, others report inaccurate readings, poor durability, barely readable screens, and consider it overpriced.

Seems great, no complaints.
Easy set up, no frills, monochrome screen. Works great and seems accurate. Nice to get something that just does the job and isn’t trying to be a rock concert about it…

works but….
now that i finally have this thing properly installed i ~love~ it, almost addicted to monitoring my monitor. but….i knew i was going to need to buy a short heavy cable to go between the negative terminal and the shunt. check. thank goodness i got the 3/8th inch ring terminals, because….what i didn’t know is that the shunt terminals would be be larger than my existing inverter neg ring terminal. arggh. i tried reaming my ring terminal out with a rasp. nope. tried then i got brilliantly frustrated and tried to drill it out. baaaad move. the bit stayed put and the wire twisted into a knot in a split second. luckily no one was harmed by this ~fail~, and back to amazon to order a new wire with larger rings, live without my inverter to use, and without it in the mix on the shunt. grrrh.a couple other ring terminals were also too small, but the wire was thin enough awg to cut off the terminals and add the right rings, which i luckily had on hand- i live full time on the road in the desert southwest so not easy to find parts.so by the time my inverter wire got delivered and i could install everything properly to the shunt, i had accidentally reset the whole system twice. follow me here: the screen lights up when you push and hold the top button, and the lighted screen turns off with the same button. the second button, right under the top button, resets the amp hours to 100% when you push and hold it. these two buttons are tiny and right next to each other, and are ~not lit up~. so twice when i went to turn the screen light off at night, i pushed the wrong little button, resetting my ah’s. that forces you to wait till you can top off your batts to 100% and reset the whole monitor again.a small tweak of this product would fix this problem- let the screen light shine through the top button only so it can be distinguished in the dark. i now have to shine a light on the screen each evening to be absolutely sure i’m pushing the right button to turn the screen off.so i know some of my tribulations with this monitor were my own fault, but for a system add-on product like this, the shunt terminals should be default size 5/16, not 3/8 inch, to be universal and make for a WAY easier install.but yeah, i freakin’ love this thing, love all the info i get off it. beats guessing by the amps showing on my charge controller how much juice i might have. now i can run my battleborns down to between 80 and 50% most of the time- i read that lifepo4 doesn’t really like to stay topped off at 100%.so buy this, but be prepared by checking all your negative terminals and make sure you have what you need to modify them!

works flawless. great product
this works great, i have 2 litime 230 ah battery’s that have bluetooth, but you have t switch back and fourth to see what is going on, and they wont show anything under amps. this thing shows everything that is coming in or leaving. great tool for our boondocking

Great battery shunt highly recommend
Works great easy to set up very nice to see what percent your batteries are at so far works great I have it hooked up to 2 ruixu lithi2-16 and it runs accurate to the display on the batteries and has a long enough cord so I could mount it in a visible location

Tips on lengthening Battery Monitor Shielded Wire.
So we ordered this Renogy Battery Monitor for our travel trailer. Overall it’s a nice unit, but it can be a bit frustrating to set it up. One issue we faced was the length of the shielded wire from the shunt to the monitor. It is only about 19.6 feet long and we needed to add another 16 feet to it. The wire is not something that you go and pick up at any big box store. It’s a tiny 26AWG with a shield around it. But we discovered that Amazon also sells a 26 feet version of this exact wire. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082ZPGYHZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsSo we ordered the wire and sure enough it’s the exact size and specs. as the Renogy wire. The only difference if that one end of the plug does not fit the Renogy. So, we used the end that fits the Renogy, then carefully cut the wire to the desire length and spliced it to the wire we had. It is important to take your time and be super careful when you cutting those tiny wires. It is best to solder them together and tape them good with electrical tape. Make sure you connect the shielded wired together too. Our works great and without any issues.

I am always a bit leery about electrical “stuff” but wanted a monitor for my solar set up. Despite connecting the shunt incorrectly twice (didn’t have load and charge input on the correct opposite side as the battery, I finally managed to get it working. Works perfectly and is useful to know when I am net positive or net negative when charging and drawing current.

Work fine in the application I need it for

What did I like ? – the fact that everything you need comes in the kit. Wire(s), shunt, gauge just plug and play. Itâs easy, then it all comes alive. Great ! ðð
