Great lights but not the most user friendly app
I ordered these Smart LED recessed lights to replace the generic ones in the front of my house. They were reasonably priced with the coupon available at the time I purchased them and once I got them installed, they were just what I was looking for. They are very bright but can be dimmed to a level that youâre comfortable with and youâre able to change them to any color you want.I will say the app these lights use (Smart Life) is not very intuitive in my opinion. Although grouping multiple lights together so they can be controlled all at once is possible, I found it very difficult to figure out how to do that. Thereâs a video on the product listing that helps but it just seems kind of backwards on how this functionality is setup.These lights do use a mesh gateway to control them so just know that small piece of equipment needs to be remained plugged in somewhere fairly close to the lights while still close to a wifi signal.I like how low profile they are and snug up tightly to the ceiling. They didnât have a foam ring included to serve as a barrier for bugs to get in while installed outside on the soffit. I found a caulk cord weather seal to help with this.One problem I ran into was installing one of the lights close to the rafter. It was difficult to fit back into the precut hole because the LED box on the back of the light was slightly deeper than the non-smart one originally installed.Overall Iâm happy with these lights and how theyâve enhanced our curb appeal. The price, ease of install, and quality have made it a great purchase.

Love the colors
Excellent lighting. Easy installation. Installed them a few months ago still going strong I use “google” to voice control them. I also used the app from time to time. Good price and good customer service. I have 5 installed in my movie room. Highly recommend

Clamps The clamps don’t have a ton of room in a can to support the unit.
This product was pretty good. Love the ease of installation and wide range of color. They are pretty responsive to the wifi on Alexa. They fit into the existing hole pretty well. My only problem i had was the dimmer option wasn’t dimmer enough. It was still pretty bright at 1 percent. All in all a good buy.
