Impressive Projector with a Few Small Letdowns
Overall, Iâm very impressed with this projector. Itâs compact, easy to set up, and throws a huge, bright image even in tight spaces. My Firestick works great with it, and the picture quality is solid. That said, I couldnât get the Google TV dongle to work, and the JBL speakersâwhile decentâdidnât quite meet expectations. The sound is clear but not as full or powerful as Iâd hoped, and it seems like thereâs a volume limiter in place. Even at max volume, it doesnât get as loud as I expected for something with JBL branding.Still, for the convenience, features, and price, itâs a great optionâjust donât expect booming theater sound without an external speaker.

Big Screen, Great Sound â Perfect for My Living Room
Let me level with you: Iâve been burned by cheap projectors before. Fuzzy images, garbage speakers, setups that made me want to pull my hair out. So when I saw the Yaber K300s laser ultra short throw for $1000, I was very surprised because ust projector usually cost more than $2000, and then I bought it. Hereâs the no-BS breakdown:âWhat Rocks:âââSpace Saver Supreme:ââ The k300sâ is a game-changer. It sits less than 10 inches from my wall and shoots a massive 100â screen. My cramped living room setup finally makes sense. No more rearranging furniture or mounting crap to the ceiling. Just point, plug, and play.and Itâs all built-inâNetflix, YouTube, Huluâready in seconds. Feels like a smart TV, not a projector. If you hate tech clutter, this is gold.JBL speaker: the bass thumps. Music sounds full, dialogue is crisp, and action scenes actually rattle my coffee cup. For casual viewing? You wonât need a soundbar. Itâs genuinely impressive.Color: Greens look lush, reds explode, and skin tones stay natural. Itâs vibrant without looking cartoonish. Best color Iâve seen under $2k.âWhatâs⦠Fine (But Not Perfect):âââBrightness Has Limits:ââ If your room gets blasted by direct sunlight? This wonât save you. Evenings or curtains-drawn daytime? Looks fantastic. But open the blinds at noon? Prepare for a washed-out image. â1000 lumens = good, not great.ââ Manage your expectations.Another point, when I turned on the projector, the picture looked distorted. At first I thought there was something wrong with the machine. In fact, you need to turn on automatic keystone correction or manual adjustment in the settings. You need a relatively flat screen or wall.âWho Should Buy This? (Be Honest):ââIf youâre itching for a âbig-screen experienceâ without remodeling your room or emptying your wallet. This is your play. The convenience is unrealâjust drop it near a wall and boom, huge picture + great sound. Is it flawless? Nope. But for $1000? The compromises make sense.âSkip it if:ââ You need daylight-brightness (get a TV) or demand true 4K/3D (save for $2.5K+ projectors).âFinal Take:ââ Itâs not fancy. Itâs just stupid practical. For renters, budget-minded families, or anyone who wants “big & easy” without the hassle? âK300s absolutely nailed the essentials.ââ I think k300s is the best UST projector for $1,000.

Terrible Company and Product
Avoid this company and its projectors at all costs!!! I purchased their high end K300s, it arrived 1 month late, we have been unable to get it work for the last 2 months, and the company wonât even respond to my emails/issues.

Exactly what I needed for my compact setup
My apartment living room is tiny. Was skeptical about projectors, but this UST nails it. Measured precisely: 25cm from wall = perfect 100″ image on my screen. Picture is bright and colors pop, especially on nature docs. Setup was mindlessly easy – turned it on, and it auto-adjusted in seconds. Integrated JBL sound is impressively full for its size. Only docked half a star because internal fans can be faintly audible during very quiet scenes. Otherwise, brilliant space-saving solution!
