Directly after assembly and 1 test drive review. And its good.
This may be a little long winded but will hopefully cover any information you might be wanting before purchasing. If you are looking at purchasing this tricycle, then your budget to do so is probably like mine, on the lower side. I bought this for my 80 year mama who doesnt get around that well. She is just 5 foot. This tricycle says to fit people as short as 4’9″ (more on that below). At the time of purchase this Tricycle cost me $709 with free shipping. Which pretty effectively makes it the cheapest one on Amazon. Keep that in mind as you read. Because during the assembly, I didnt have real high hopes that it would be as nice as it was in the pictures. Side note: When you open the box it comes in, take a second and marvel at how well its packaged. It took me a few moments to even decide where to begin to get it outta the box.Assembly was very smooth with the video. The bike seems to be mostly tuned at the plant. So you are more or less just attaching the misc. stuff. The handlebars were a bit confusing until I pulled up the video. Then it made sense. There were a few things that were a little bent or misaligned. Nothing that wasnt easy to fix. Most the the attachment points have enough play to get things where they need to be. This was still WAY better then I expected. When you purchase the cheapest of anything, most of the time it borders on frustration and regret. You’ll get neither with this bike. The hardware seems to be stainless steel. Which is great. They shouldnt rust. My only complaint is that the washers are just straight washers. They really needed to be locking washers. With moderate use, I dont see how some of these screws will not back out and loosen a bit. The only problem I encountered was one of the chain guides was bent and the screws were loose. Had to get a pair of pliers and bend a couple of places and realigned the guards and put the chain back on. They include 2 allen wrenches but these screws were of a different size. Thankfully I have many of my own and found one that fit. Id suggest looking first at the chains and guides to make sure they are straight and tight. I didnt notice mine till I tried to ride it the first time. I had to tilt the bike on its tail so the front tire was pointing towards the ski. I had to use pillows to protect the rear fenders cause I didnt feel like taking them off to do this quick fix. But wouldnt hurt to have some extra allen wrenches and if possible, locking washing before you start.Functionality is pretty good. I did a test ride with my mama in mind. There were some issues. First, the bike is supposed to be usable by people as short as 4’9″. I dont know about that. The seat is really high. Even on its lowest setting. Stepping into the bike isnt really a problem but the seat is… and its horrible. Its tall and uncomfortable. Even at 5’10” I cant just sit on the seat. I have to step up onto it. It has a “shock” on the post but even at 200 lbs, it doesnt really work. It compresses but doesnt spring back up and doesnt bounce. I highly doubt my mom will be able to get into the seat. So I am going to replace it with a wider, lower and more comfortable seat. Even if I was going to be using this bike for myself, Id still replace the seat. Keep in mind that the seat is in the way of removing the battery pack. This included seat pops forward and out of the way. Dont know if you could find I could find a better seat with this same function. It has a quick disconnect on the seat post, so guessing I will just have to remove the seat and post to get the battery pack out if needed. As for the electric ride function of the bike, its fast and powerful. I drove it on gravel, asphalt and thick tall grass. It has enough power and torque for all of it. Again, while doing the test ride I was thinking bout my mom. The speed control is lacking. There isnt a lot of veritable speed when you turn the nob. It goes from nothing to pretty quick. Not like spin the tires in gravel quick but for an elderly person, it could catch them a bit off guard. It has 3 modes but I didnt really notice a difference between the 3. Couldnt tell you which one has less torque. I didnt dig into the paperwork but there is no mention that I could see on the sales page to explain the level differences. Sadly, at no time did I notice a pairing of the pedal drive and the electric drive. But I only did maybe 1000 foot test ride. I kinda expected you to be able to “assist”. But if you are not pedaling as fast as the electric motor is going, you are just spinning your feet. Again, this might be something one needs to learn when to help and when not to. The biggest draw back to the pedal drive is, no gears. Pedaling the bike takes some decent leg strength. I dont foresee my mama being able to pedal this bike at all with as old and weak as she is. But thats why it has electric drive.Overall I am seriously impressed with the build quality, materials and functionality of this bike. Keep in mind that most of my “issues” are based on the needs of an elderly mom. For any normal person, this bike should work amazing. I believe with a few changes to the seat, OH and I am going to buy larger pedals. The ones it comes with are kid sized. With these two changes I suspect my mom will be able to use the bike effectively.

    Happy wife, happy life!
I bought this 3-wheel e-trike for my 60-year-old wife because she has Parkinson’s and due to her mobility and balance issues, she is no longer able to ride her 2 wheel bike with me.I received this Qlife e-trike today and was able to put it together in less than one hour. It was a simple assembly following the YouTube video link in the book.I took her to the local park with level to moderate-sloped paved roads. She was a little nervous at first until she got used to the powerful motor, but within 30 minutes she was riding all over the park, grinning like a kid! Now she is excited to be able to ride bikes with me again, although I’m going to have problems keeping up with her on my non-electric mountain bike. She likes the looks of the trike and the storage baskets. Although it is a little heavy (93 lbs), it does fold up easily and fits in the back of her Explorer to take to the local park. She was very thankful that we made this purchase.

    Yay!
It came so swiftly, originally it gave me a 10dayish delivery time but it was QUICKLY updated to where I got it in 3! I’m so excited to try this bike out.I put it together, not hard at all really. It speeds up great, doesnt seem to lurch or do anything silly. Really enjoying this bike, cant wait to go more places as a disabled person who can’t drive a car! 🩷

Should have done more research. This is scrap metal only.
This bike is JUNK!!! Doesn’t work after riding for 3 miles… Don’t buy this brand! You will be sorry like me, stuck trying to return this heavy scrap metal.I recently got this bike for my wife. We were so excited to be able to go on longer rides. There are a few things about this bike I am not happy with. The throttle is like a motorcycle style. It doesn’t always engage smoothly and likes to take off or still run once you release the throttle. I am not sure if this is a defect or the way its made. It is a bit scary for her as she isn’t comfortable with almost being thrown off the bike. No adjustments can be made to the throttle mechanism. The other thing is, some of the metal fender brackets hit the frame while riding and make a lot of metal clanking noise. This may be because during shipping the bike was damaged and pieces were bent and now, I am forced to deal with it. I have contacted the seller on Amazon, and it seems like a lot of work to follow their crazy detailed instructions to get any support. I can return it, but it is a very heavy box, and I will end up paying for shipping. Not happy at all with this purchase.

    Good build quality
The bike is built solid and has strong electronics. Additionally, there was forethought in its design and doesnt use many proprietary parts, if at all. My bike arived with a dented basket, and the support staff were very available and willing to provide me with a new one. The product alsk include grey touch-up paint in case it gets scratched which is a nice touch for a product that may see a little rough use.
