Gyro is permitted for practices & games by the NFHS.
Layered inside each Gyro is military grade, patented, coated aramid fabric, like that found in law enforcement vests.

Installation Instructions
Simply place Gyro in helmet with round tab at front, black comfort side against head, no adhesive required. Best practice is to have Gyro on-hand at time of helmet fitting.
Softens with body heat
Comfort foam technology quickly softens with warmth from the player’s body heat and feels great against the head. May feel slightly firm when cool or not in use.
Disperses impact energy
Fibers are tightly spun and interlaced to form a dense net. They redirect & scatter impact energy laterally at a 90-degree angle from its original direction.
IT’S A PATENTED COMPOSITE
With over 100 U.S. and international patents, this ultra-thin, ultra-light, flexible technology was first developed for military and law enforcement. The technology originally developed to protect those that protect us was then adapted for sports. These advanced materials handle blunt force trauma differently and better than virtually all plastics and foams.
Providing a tensile strength 5X greater than steel on an equal weight basis, aramid fibers are so tightly spun that they are nearly impossible to separate them. Long strands of fiber are interlaced to form a dense net. When a high-velocity projectile hits it, the fibers essentially catch the projectile while absorbing and dissipating the impact energy.
Unequal blocks shock in two ways. If the source of the impact shock comes at us on the x-axis, for instance, it’s initially dampened somewhat at the point of contact by the top layer of elastomer. And then, thanks to aramid fibers, the remaining energy is redirected and scattered on the y & z axis, preventing most of the impact energy from entering the body.

Worked as intended, raised his helmet to a much more comfortable position. This was a good buy. Theybevent sent out Gen1 at no charge just in case it didn’t fit.

NOT PRACTICAL
IT WILL FIT ANY HELMET BUT WHEN YOU TAKE THE HELMET OFF IT WILL COME OFF TOO, I HAD TO USE VELCRO AND GLUE IT TO THE LINER AND THEN GLUE THE VELCRO TO THE HELMET PADDING SO IT WILL NOT COME OFF.

Wonderful seller
I have a nearly 14 year old, playing middle school football. He plays both sides of the ball and is involved in nearly every play of the game, so the need for extra protection against concussions is crucial. He was coming up against a team that has a bad reputation (weâll just leave it at that), and we really wanted to make sure this extra protection was in before that game. There was a delay on behalf of UPS, and UPS customer service was not able to help me, so I reached out to the seller. They were absolutely phenomenal and shipped out a replacement to be delivered by noon the next day, to ensure that he had this in his helmet before the game. Most companies take weeks to respond these days, and could care less about the customer service side of their business⦠this couldnât be further from the truth for this company. I will be forever, grateful for them, going above and beyond, and cannot recommend them enough!As far as the product specifically, I cannot review its long-term effects yet. I will say that the instructions were easy, and it could be cut to fit his helmet perfectly. For the thicker black pad, which is 1/4â I can see that you would need to size up in the helmet, as this would not work for him at all. The thinner option they sent worked. Next season we will likely have him size up to accommodate the thicker Gyro pad and reap the full benefits!Thank you again for going above and beyond for our boy!

Not sure how people were having trouble fitting this in a youth helmet. My son had a very small helmet for a 5 year old. His head was to small for the smallest helmet and this worked perfectly for his fitment issues. They even sent an extra 1st Gen one incase the 2nd Gen one didn’t fit.

Bigger then I thought
I bought this for my son who started youth football, his helmet is to big. This is bigger then I thought and it hangs out from the helmet. BUT it does make it his helmet fit him better
