Nice, sturdy arm for large ultra wide monitors
I am pretty skeptical about something holding a $1000 monitor, but I read the reviews here and decide to purchase one. It arrived in a neatly packaged box. All the components felt very sturdy (and a bit heavy). The instructions were really easy to follow for installation. It also comes with tools required to get everything tensioned correctly and installed. The VESA bracket fit my 45â LG OLED ultra gear monitor almost perfectly (the monitor has a few minor plastic bits that stick out around the VESA mounting area, but was still able to get it to work. The arm itself comes with integrated cable and tool management. I thought those extra were really nice and so far have worked really well. You can adjust the arm sections to either rotate 90 or 180 degrees from their center (basically full rotation). This helped a lot with how I have mine setup. The tension is adjusted pretty easily. For a monitor that is large and curved, youâll definitely want someone to help you get the monitor mounted to the arm and screwed in. The pre-tension was pretty loose for me so we had to spend a few minutes tightening it, moving it around, and making sure it wouldnât slowly fall down. Once itâs set though, itâs very easy to move, doesnât make any noises, and blends right in with the other matte black items I had.Itâs a very nice monitor arm and I would recommend it.

Great for the 45 lg ultragear!!
I have been looking for an arm for my 45 lg and couldnât get a clear answer about this one. So I decided to buy it and try it. I have no complaints at all. Itâs most sturdy if you add a board, but i would do this even with a 500$ mount. Itâs not gonna fall if you take your time and adjust the bolts for tension. Always add a touch extra, even with small monitors. It hold perfectly. No wobble unless I bump my desk. Moves freely and easily when I need it. I think people donât tighten the tension enough. Itâs supposed to be a little stiff when u let go and free up when it starts moving. If youâre looking for the 45 lg oled ultragear then this works!Installs easy. Common sense. Took about two minutes to install the second one once I took my time with the first. They donât tell u but it has a little tool holder on the back so u can adjust tension on the fly! That should be advertised.Usb iWorks great! Audio cable isnât really needed these days.Highly recommend!

This monitor extender by VIVO is the best purchase I made
I was looking to make room on my desk after adding a 34-inch curved monitor to go with my 49-inch monitor. At first, I had them sitting side by side, but my neck started hurting because I had to look to the far left and right to see both screens completely. I decided to buy a monitor arm extender to stack my monitors to avoid looking far left and far right, so here is what happened.I initially bought another brand that cost around $70 that would support my 49-inch monitor, but once I received it and took it out of the box, it was very complicated to assemble because, one, the directions were not clear, and two, it had a lot of pieces that seemed very overwhelming. After assembling it, it seemed very lightweight, not sturdy at all, AND I was limited in the rotation angles, which I was not happy with, so I returned it.I decided to pay the heftier price for this VIVO monitor extender, and I want to say I’M SO HAPPY I DID! Instead of using it for my 49-inch monitor, I decided to use it for my 34-inc curved monitor so I could stack them.1. You can tell as soon as you take it out of the box, IT’S QUALITY AND VERY STURDY.2. It was super easy to assemble as the instructions were very clear, and it didn’t have 100 pieces to assemble.3. You can angle this in so many ways! From up, down, left, right, horizontally, vertically, in an angle, you name it, you can angle it! This allowed me to adjust the monitor to sit perfectly on the top center of my 49-inch monitor with no weight from the 34-inch monitor being on the 49-inch monitor. I added a picture to show that the 34-inch monitor is barely touching the 49-inch.While it may cost a bit more, IT IS 100% WORTH IT! I now call this my command center and have a lot more room on my desk. I would highly recommend this arm extender!

What’s not to like: cheap and works well
This product gives Ergotron a run for your money, very reasonably price (1/3 the price actually) and solid performance. The arm works well with Samsung Odyssey G9 with no to little wobble once the tension of the arm is adjusted. It’s simple to put together. Placing the monitor and adjusting the tension certainly requires 2 persons for the G9. Some reviewers said that the pneumatic arm doesn’t hold up well. Fingers crossed. The kit is designed to be used with flat monitor. You need an adapter to use it with a curved monitor. Luckily the G9 came with one. So no extra cost for me. If possible, get the model for tall people even if you’re not. It’s much easier to adjust how deep you want the monitor from you.

Bought this since it was a LOT cheaper than the typically recommended ErgoTron HX arm, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it can hold up my Samsung 49″ display with no issue.Been using this arm since June 2021, no sagging or droop issues. Had to crank the tightness on the swivel head where it connects to the monitor though, but after tightening it, the arm holds up with no sag over time. The in-built cable management is also pretty okay, but the bottom piece is a slide-on cover instead of being screwed on like the top piece is. Can be a bit of a pain in the ass to slide back on if you have a lot of cables running through it.

Amazingly great at handling the weight, I love it. You can turn it wherever you want.

Purchased this mount for my new Odyssey G9 49in, assembly took about 30 minutes, and installing the monitor, getting it just right, etc took another 30.The mount itself is extremely sturdy. Well packaged, feels like quality just taking it out of the bag. I was able to get my monitor exactly where I wanted it, and making minor adjustments throughout the day is easy. This monitor is definitely heavy and there’s no sag. Just need to adjust the gas tension nut and it can be moved easily.I am extremely particular with my ergo setup, my previous arm took me weeks of fiddling with it to be happy. I’ve had it only for a few hours and I’m already happier with it than I was with my previous setup. The only thing I would change is to have some type of tension mechanism for the monitor tilt- but I realize that’s not really possible. Adjusting the tilt and locking it in was the worst part of setting up the arm, but honestly it wasn’t that bad.100% recommend, wouldn’t look anywhere else; if you’re buying an ultrawide monitor don’t cheap out, this mount is the one.
