Truly plug & play
Iâve been using this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver kit to stream from my laptop to a second monitor across the room, and it works flawlessly. Setup was super easy- just plug it in, and it starts transmitting. No software, no hassle.The picture quality is sharp at 1080P, and it handles 4K input well too. I havenât noticed any lag while streaming movies, browsing, or mirroring presentations. Audio syncs up perfectly with the video, which was a big concern for me before buying.One thing I love is that it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so it adjusts automatically depending on your network conditions. It works great even through a wall, and the signal stays strong with no noticeable drops or buffering.

We had a party and I was in charge of supplying some of the entertainment equipment, namely a projector and a laptop, and because of the setting I had to either buy a very long hdmi cable or use connectors to connect a few shorter hdmi cables. I stumbled onto this wireless hdmi and I decided to give it a try, it is more elegant than a long hdmi! I opted for this particular set because it comes with a USB type-C to hdmi adapter and all kind of mini/micro hdmi adapters, and I wanted this because my portable monitor has a mini hdmi.Upon receiving, I connected transmitter to my Lenovo Yoga laptop and receiver to my Onoayo projector and ⦠it did not work. I tried pairing again receiver and transmitter to no avail, I thought it is a dud, but then I connected the receiver to my KYY portable monitor and boom, worked right away. Then I connected to my Hisense TV (as seen in pics) and it worked as expected! Connected back to projector and does not work. I replaced my Lenovo with an older Dell laptop and this time it connected to the projector, with no issues! Afterwards I tested with several other devices TV sets and it worked!For the party I took my Dell laptop knowing it is working, over there, the DJ had another Dell laptop and it did not work with his, but it worked with another TV set. So, I concluded that my projector has some issues with some devices transmitting through wifi hdmi.The product has small blues LED that will notify you the product is powered and working. Please be aware, that unless you using (as I did in the picture) a Type-C data and power port, you will have to power your transmitter from a separate USB port. Same with the receiver, if you power a device that has no USB port, you will need to have a separate USB power adapter (eg. a portable monitor like my KYY 15.6â with usb-C ports only). But donât worry, if you forget all this, the receiver will display all that info (pic #2).We used this wireless hdmi continuously for about 6 hours with no issues and no lag. Indeed, it is a bit hot during long usage, but ensure good ventilation and there will be no issues.Conclusion: this is an elegant solution, easy to setup, works as a regular hdmi cable and in most of the cases will be perfect, but it is not a given, especially when you are going to test with a new device, best to backup with a regular hdmi cable. Why not less than 5 stars? Because I cannot say who is at fault, PWAYTEK wireless hdmi or ONOAYO projector.

Whole family satisfied
bought this wireless HDMI transmission device for my husband, and we are both very satisfied. At work, he used to connect his laptop to the monitor with a presentation cable, but now with this device, the wireless connection is much simpler. For him, being able to work with his laptop at a distance and without cables is a relief and much more comfortable. In addition to making my husband’s work easier, this device is also very suitable for us to use at home or when traveling to hotels or apartments. Imagine carrying it with you on vacation so that you can watch all the content from your laptop on the TV or even the same projector, or even watch a movie on a white wall. At home, we use it to connect to my projector so that we can watch football matches on a big screen. I must say that the transmission quality is great, with no interruptions or malfunctions. It’s a very unique experience. Then we took the opportunity to watch a movie with our daughters, and with the sound system we installed, it was a perfect home cinema. The price is very reasonable. We have used cheaper devices before, but the transmission quality was never satisfactory, and there were often delays or lags when transmitting images, videos, and so on. But my husband, I, and our daughters are all satisfied with this product. I recommend it.

Great product! Not for gaming.
It’s great! It truly is plug and play. Very easy to set up!The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I planned to use this for my Nintendo switch but there is a little lag time. The advertising claims there is none.

Overheats very quickly.
Setup is easy and connectivity works well. However, the transmitter immediately begins to overheat. I only use about an hour at a time and then unplug. I’m concerned about it causing damage to my connected devices.

Fast and easy setup
I was using Roku device to cast the computer screen on TV. That was working but lags due to internet issues on both devices. And it takes time to setup.These hdmi transmitter and receiver worked really well..basically no setup is required..Product: using for few days now. No probpem.in connection. Quality of devices also look good. For the price i paid, I am happy with device.
