Quiet and efficient!
Extremely quiet. Easy to set up and use. First one didnât work (as soon as I turned it on it turned itself off). Easy to get replacement and second one works perfectly. This is a 5-star purchase!

SO much for what you get
We recently had a closet put in. They used a combination of wood and manufactured wood. My wife had a bad reaction to the VOCs of the wood, so I immediately started looking for something to help. We went with the formaldehyde filter and so glad we did. Within a day, the smells had gotten better and the air quality went from 60 down to single digits. After 2-3 days of this running she could finally go in the room without having a reaction. We have now had the filter running for 2 weeks and its great. We feel safer knowing we are breathing cleaner and the app is nice showing you your air quality. The setup is super easy, the controls are pretty basic and straight forward, and yes, you can turn off the LCD screen with the app. For the price and what you get its amazing.

It works!
Not bad. It could use another “level” between levels 2 & 3 in my humble opinion, volume wise. The first 2 are very quiet, then there’s a massive jump in noise level moving up. Other than that, it’s a pretty great air purifier. Buying endless filters moving forward is the only real negative, but, like an inkjet printer keeps forever needing ink cartridges, it’s just the nature of the beast.

Bought wyze air purifier for Thanksgiving. I have a few wyze cams and a wyze scale. The air purifier can work as standalone or via the wyze app.Just looking at the air purifier itself, it can sense if the air is polluted and adjust filtering speed from low to med to high. There is a bright led panel showing you status that updates every second. At low setting, it is close to silent, at med level you can hear it is running if you pay attention, at high level, it’s not too loud as well. The pollution sensor does work. I lit an incense nearby and the air purifier showed orange pollution level and jumped into action.With the wyze app, you can control all the functions remotely and set timers to change modes. I set it to sleep mode at 10pm I. The app, which is to keep low setting and turn off the bright led screen.

My experience with WYZE products has been hit or miss. Speaking of which, WYZE, if you guys ever stumble on this review, please, you really need to make a wireless outdoor camera that’s solar panel powered. ‘Nuff said.Now back to the air purifier. Simply put, this is a 5 star winner.BUILD: Solid. Sturdy. All black (except for the orange colored replacement cover at the bottom). Has front and back air inlet grills. Used round cylindrical HEPA filters with 3 level filtration.APPEARANCE: A rectangular tower. Nothing eye catching. Though I do wish it came in a white or grey color option. Control panel is at the top. Doesn’t seem to have a child lock.AIR QUALITY DETECTION: Currently, particle detection monitors use either infrared sensors or laser sensors. Though the laser sensor is the superior option, the important thing is that your air purifier has one. And it should have it along with a LED display so that you can see the air quality values in real time.This Wyze air purifier has laser sensors and an LED display. The front facing display not only shows you the PM2.5 numerical value, but also has the color code that indicates air quality: Red-bad air, green good air etc.NOISE: This is where it takes the prize. Most of the competitors have a 24dB sound level at Sleep mode. A few have 22dB – 23dB range. But this baby is even lower than that. Honestly, for now, there’s practically no more than two or maybe 3 other brands out there that match this.Now there’s a brand I recently stumbled on that claims a 10dB level (I’ll believe it when I see it). I just ordered it to see if that’s true.Anyway, there’s an Auto button and 4 fan speeds. I leave it at auto so I don’t need to manually adjust the speed when the air quality changes.I most definitely recommend this brand. IfI could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

The filter certainly seems to work. It detected particles in the air and the fan picks up speed depending on the air quality score. Build quality is very nice, it’s easy to change the filter, and it’s not loud unless the air quality gets pretty bad. During the bad forest fire season we had, you could tell we had the filter running. Coming back inside to clean fresh air was amazing!

I was very disappointed that this was sold to me as someone based outside the US when it clearly cannot function even with a voltage converter.
