I have had the white bulb XMCosy string lights since 2022 on the railing of my large wrap around terrace since 2022. I received these XMCOSY+ Smart Outdoor String Lights, 98Ft Patio Lights today.At first look after opening the box I thought these lights are such a mess, all tangled up and it did take me awhile to untangle them. Once that chore was done I stated to string them and realized I needed to move the white bulbs lower on the railing. Then I zip tied the new lights to the upper rail since the bulb is longer then the old.I already had the app on my phone and used it often for my white bulb string lights and adding a new device of these was quick and easy. The color choices are endless!These are really nice, bright and quick set up on the app which was already installed from my older string lights. I used the zip ties that came in the box but I added more of my own because I didn’t want the bulbs or string blowing in the wind. (It can get really window up here on the 5th floor at times)I recommend these lights for your house and yard.

Durable, bright, colorful outdoor LED lights!
I purchased a set of dimmable white LED lights from XM Cosy in 2022 for our deck. They were easy to install and they continue to work flawlessly. They have held up well considering they are outdoors all year – through the hot summers and frigid, snowy winters.I saw the new RGBCWIC smart string lights from XM Cosy and ordered them right away. I wanted to extend the lighting to the patio area below the deck and was excited to add some color to the lighting scheme.The new RGBCWIC lights are much more robust than the older white lights. They use a heavier gauge wire and have an stress-reducing plastic T brace at each light. I ordered the 98 foot version which has a total of 30 lights. The XM Cosy app has some preprogrammed scenes but you can also program your own. The lights are dimmable in white mode and color mode. The warmth of the white lights can be adjusted from a warm yellow to a cool blue-white. I prefer the warmer setting and the photo shows how well the law new lights match the warm color of my older lights.The set comes with lots of mounting accessories: clips and screws to attach the string lights to surfaces and zip ties to mount the lights and/or adjust the spacing between the lights. There are also a couple of spare illuminator cones. If you are installing the lights outdoors, I recommend purchasing a weatherproof plastic enclosure for the controller/power block.I highly recommend these lights!

Transformed Our Garden After Dark
We have a lovely backyard garden, but its beauty disappeared after sunset—until we added these string lights. Combined with spotlights from the same brand, they’ve completely transformed the space into something magical we can now enjoy day and night.The lights were easy to set up indoors before hanging, and installation along the fence was simple. However you do need to verify you have a strong Wi-Fi signal at the intended site of the controller or it would be very difficult to set up outside. Once you do, however these have been far more stable than earlier versions we’ve used.We also appreciated the upgraded app, which now lets you visually choose from a wide range of lighting patterns—and easily switch things up when the mood strikes.Customer service is responsive and helpful, so you are not at risk of wasting your money or time.Overall, this has been a fantastic addition to our landscape, and well worth the investment.

I have a set of similar lights strung up under the awning over my deck, but they’re glass incandescent bulbs. I’ve been looking to replace them with LED because I’ve had one or two glass bulbs break, and nobody wants glass on their deck. This string of lights is an upgrade from incandescent in every way. There is a good length of cord before the lights start, meaning I won’t have to use an extension cord to bridge the few feet between the start of the lights and the outlet. The bulbs themselves are a crystal clear plastic with a long cone shaped LED reflector inside. They look very similar to incandescent without the extra Kw/h’s. The lights can be programmed with either preset “scenes” or custom designed sequences. You can even make every light a different colour individually. I did find there was a bit of a learning curve to the app, but I figured out the basics after a little bit of playing around. I’m just waiting for some warmer weather to put them up, as I need to clean the underside of the awning before I do, and the weather isn’t warm enough for that. The only thing I’ve noticed about these bulbs is that the plastic bulbs aren’t hard to scratch. Each one comes covered individually with a plastic bag and elastic band. I made the mistake of taking that off and then laying them out to see how I wanted them arranged. Dragging them on the deck has put some minor abrasion marks on the bulbs. If I had not taken the plastic off until they were up, I would have mitigated some or all of that wear. Learn from my mistake, don’t take the bags off until you’re happy with how they’re hung. I’ll update my review once I have them up and running, should I encounter anything that warrants it.

We needed some outdoor lights for around our pergola with our gas fire pit and projector setup and these have been perfect. I’m really happy with the quality—the lights feel solid and even with winds over 20mph they stayed in place with no issues. I already own a few other XMCOSY lights so I was familiar with the app and the color settings which are super easy to use. It’s nice being able to set different colors or use the built-in programs to have them alternate which looks really good at night. As shown in the photos they give off a really nice glow. The length was good for our space but I do wish the bulbs were spaced a bit closer together so I’ll probably order another set from this brand to fill things out and connect everything together. recommend
