Riot Women

Sunday, 9pm, BBC One

“Do you think women of a certain age become, you know, invisible?” Teacher Beth (Joanna Scanlan) gave her best years to her family – and now both her husband and son have left her feeling disposable. She’s also caring for her mother, who has dementia. But Beth’s world is about to be shaken up by a group of fellow menopausal women who want to start a punk band for the local talent show: “And you thought the Clash were angry?” Sally Wainwright’s new comedy drama feels her most personal and urgent. It’s wonderfully warming and wickedly funny throughout, with a cracking cast boasting Lorraine Ashbourne, Tamsin Greig and Sue Johnston. Crank up the volume! Hollie Richardson

Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles

6.15pm, BBC One

A rare delight … Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles on BBC One. Photograph: BBC/PA

Watching Hamza Yassin’s face light up as he hears a male bittern booming in the wild is worth tuning in for alone (“If only I could boom like that, I’d have a wife by now”). It’s the first rare spot in the opening series of a lovely nature show, in which Hamza travels around Britain to reveal some of its hard-to-spot wildlife. HR

Rob Brydon’s Honky Tonk Road Trip

9pm, BBC Two

The pride of Glamorgan reaches the Appalachian mountains and samples some 135-proof moonshine (“in the name of research”) before, still feeling a little fragile, trying his hand at Nascar stock car racing – the closest thing country music has to an official sport. Then it’s off to the extraordinary Dollywood theme park. Ali Catterall

Frauds

9pm, ITV1

The “We’re going to have more money than God!” art heist romp starring Suranne Jones and Jodie Whittaker continues. Sam (Whittaker) makes the shock discovery that a family member is involved in their plans, and Bert (Jones) tries to stop the whole thing unravelling as their forger Bilal (Karan Gill) gets in deep trouble. HR

Hunted

9pm, Channel 4

A new series of the entertaining if sinister competition that makes gripping TV out of the intense surveillance under which we all live. As more pairs set out to evade capture for 21 days, it’s fun to guess who will be the first to flounder as the net tightens. You won’t have to wait long … Phil Harrison

Revival

10pm, Sky Max

“Fargo meets The Walking Dead” sounds good, doesn’t it? And this Wisconsin-set supernatural noir doesn’t disappoint on that premise. It’s adapted from a comic-book series and stars Melanie Scrofano as Deputy Dana Cypress, a small-town cop whose murder investigation is complicated when all the local dead people start coming back to life. Ellen E Jones
