Iâve tried a handful of smart bulbs over the years, but the Orein Aidot Matter Smart Bulb A21 is easily the best Iâve used. Setup was a breezeâthanks to Matter compatibility, it seamlessly connected with my Apple HomeKit without any hiccups. The AiDot app is also great and offers a smooth, modern layout.The brightness and color range are impressive. Whether I want a cool white light for working or a warm, cozy glow for movie night, this bulb delivers. The color options are vibrant, and transitions are smoothâno flickering or delay.Another huge plus: the responsiveness. Commands are nearly instant, and scheduling or automations through my smart home system work perfectly. I especially appreciate the energy efficiencyâitâs bright, but it doesnât overheat or draw a ton of power.If youâre looking for a reliable, future-proof smart bulb that works with all major platforms, the Orein Aidot A21 is a no-brainer.

Matter enabled lights so it connects to pretty much everything – Apple Home, Google Home, and its own Aidot app which I prefer for color – and Google Home for good preset white tones.Pretty simple to connect these lights. They have a QR Code on their sides. They get decently bright for most colors – obviously even brighter with certain lighter shades and then whites, duh. Good quality bulbs. Length-wise, they might be a bit bigger than expected, so they might poke out a bit on some standing lamps. They do the job for the money.

I had minor issues, but they were on my end. I had to reset the bulb by powering it up and down by screwing it a few times, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy to setup. Okay brightness. Good price. Seemingly good quality. I haven’t had any connection problems, because it uses 2.4 ghz band so it has long(er) distance.

Great, bright colors and incredibly easy to use.
Unlike other smart bulbs, these are brighter and support Matter. Those were the most important factors for me when choosing smart bulbs. However, these impressed me even more when I found out they were able to correctly reproduce 2700k, 3000k, and 5000k white colors. Itâs very difficult to find quality RGB bulbs that reproduce whites accurately. Setup was also remarkably easy. The app also has fun color presets that take it to the next level. 10/10

OREiN Matter Smart Light Bulb, 1600 Lumens 100W Equivalent Smart Light BulbsThe installation and operation were flawless.I used the OREiN Matter Smart Light Bulb with an iPhone.If you have trouble with Matter IOT, I’ll offer some ideas…You need to have a Wi-Fi router that is fairly new and works well with Matter.When you screw the bulb into a lamp and turn it on, wait about 2 to 4 minutes while it syncs with you Wi-Fi network before connecting it to Apple Home (or whatever app you use).If you turn the light bulb off with a wall switch, it will turn back on with the wall switch with the same settings. To need to wait 1 to 2 minutes until the light bulb reconnects to your Wi-Fi network if you want to change its settings (color, brightness, etc).Oddly, you can schedule the light bulb to turn off at a certain time of day – but, there is not an “On” choice. I think there are work-arounds – but, it would be simpler just to have “On” as a scheduling option.My daughter wants in her bedroom bright daylight in the morning and yellow dim light in the evening. The OREiN Matter Smart Light Bulb was a perfect solution.

It looks great and is very bright, but if youâre using Apple HomeKit be prepared to get âNo Responseâ connection errors frequently. Just spend a bit more for Philips Hue, itâs not worth the savings.
